Bob Anderson, an Olympic fencer and best known for his role as David Prowse's stunt double for Darth Vader's lightsaber fighting scenes, has died Sunday at the age of 89.

Anderson was also involved with sword-fighting sequences for movies like The Princess Bride, The Mask of Zorro, and also The Lord of the Rings trilogy, as well as teaching fencing to many Hollywood stars like Sean Connery and Johnny Depp.
