HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMINUTIA!!! Much love, Em. Have a great day!

Alright so basically, I'm interning at a senate campaign in the communications department. They asked me to analyze this video that has gone viral: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htX2usfqMEs. And honestly, I'm taking this internship to learn but I have no experience in this field at all. Does anyone know of a website with youtube stats and I can see where it has been linked or anything?

An international team of scientists said on Thursday they had recorded sub-atomic particles traveling faster than light -- a finding that could overturn one of Einstein's long-accepted fundamental laws of the universe. Antonio Ereditato, spokesman for the researchers, told Reuters that measurements taken over three years showed neutrinos pumped from CERN near Geneva to Gran Sasso in Italy had arrived 60 nanoseconds quicker than light would have done. "We have high confidence in our results. We have checked and rechecked for anything that could have distorted our measurements but we found nothing," he said. "We now want colleagues to check them independently." If confirmed…

California scientists have found a way to see through another person's eyes. Researchers from UC Berkeley were able to reconstruct YouTube videos from viewers' brain activity -- a feat that might one day offer a glimpse into our dreams, memories and even fantasies. "This is a major leap toward reconstructing internal imagery," said Jack Gallant, professor of psychology and coauthor of a study published today in Current Biology. "We are opening a window into the movies in our minds." Read the rest in the link below http://abcnews.go.com/Health/MindMoodNews/scientists-youtube-videos-mind/story?id=14573442

A study of 42 gamers aged 15 to 21 who played for at least ten hours a week revealed that most have experienced ‘games transfer phenomena’ – doing or thinking things in real life as if they were still in a fantasy environment. The report said a few participants reported ‘criminal thoughts’ such as recreating Grand Theft Auto, which awards points for ‘wrecking things and killing people’ while they are driving. MORE VIOLENCE TO COME

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSE!!!

Today was a wonderful day to be a Mage, and to make me seem less crazy. I woke up and decided it was time to play some Morrowind. After a couple hours and a few bowls of Cookie Crisp, I thought I'd play Oblivion. Both great games, both great stories. However, Morrowind had so much more to do than Oblivion. When I ask my neighbor which he prefers, he says Oblivion and laughs when I tell him I think Morrowind is better. So I decided I was going to make a list of the differences in both games. Morrowind: More Join able Factions (The Morag Tong, House Hlaalu, House Redoran, House Telvanni, East Empire Company, Tribunal Temple, and the Vampire Clans, Aundae Clan, Berne Clan,…

Australian scientists have invented a new breed of robots called Lingodroids, programmed to make, use, and share language. The bots can coin words to describe places they have been, places they want to go, and plans for getting there. “When they need a new word, they invent one,” says Janet Wiles, a cognitive scientist at the University of Queensland who leads an interdisciplinary team on the project. The rolling chatterboxes “see” using 360-degree cameras, laser range finders, and sonar. A microphone functions as their ears, and a speaker acts as a voice box, emitting the familiar beeps of a touch-tone phone. As for brains, Wiles outfitted each Lingodroid with an alphabe…

Happy birthday ARMI!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIGHTWING!!!

Our Justin.tv streaming channel needs a little bit of updating. I'm requesting the help of some of our members to rewrite the about section. We just need something to update our bio to where we are now. I believe we can get together and come up with some ideas at least. The bio we have now isn't bad at all just a little dated. We are more than just Xbox gamers now, and if it's just a matter of just saying gamers then so be it. I just wanted some opinions. The current info is posted below. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TITLE!!! Our Aussie Pimp

So, this is a pretty cool read. It's detailed instructions on how to gut your Xbox 360 and PS3 and combine both of them into one PC tower case. Pretty damn cool consolidation of space. Incredibly long and not for the faint of heart, but if I was less lazy I'd try it. http://timofiend.blogspot.com/2011/09/hi-there-my-names-timofiend-or-tim-as.html
