I see the Pats and Giant's are playing.. again.. The only reason I know this is because my room mate is a huge, and by huge I mean custom patriots jersey huge, fan. I personally don't follow much football but surprised to see no discussion on here!

Anybody watch this or the other playoff games? It was a great game! Tebow actually looked like a pro QB for the first time. I saw one duck pass, but I think that was about that.

Woot! We're doing good this season. Sitting 5-4 makes me a happy panda. Too bad there was another violent incident after their most recent victory over the Chargers this past weekend. Dude got stabbed in the parking lot for some reason.

  10. R.I.P. to you Al Davis. Even though I loathed a lot of what you did, you still were the owner of my favorite team. Rest in peace old man, and smile as your team wallops Houston today. (I'm back temporarily)

So what's everyone's thoughts on the new kick-off rules? We've had one week of pre-season games, and almost all were touchbacks. The few that weren't normally would have been, but several young players are trying to make the team and this is the only way to show what they have to offer. Of all the one's I've seen and heard of so far, San Diego still has the only Kick-Off return TD... and it was the only one that got even close. Also, what are your thoughts on the new review after every touchdown? At first I thought it was a horrible idea, but after watching a couple of games it doesn't seem to slow things down like I thought it would.

So, the debate on whether or not Pryor should enter the Supplemental draft is determined by whether or not his situation had changed after the April draft. In my opinion, his situation did not change, but rather he changed the situation (if you follow my logic). He was being disciplined by the NCAA for breaking rules. He then chose to leave the NCAA to go into the NFL. His choice to leave the NCAA to avoid the consequences of his actions, does not represent a "change" that warrants him being admitted into the Supplemental draft. Thoughts?

  14. The enraged player and his teammates could hardly believe what they had seen in the previous inning. As they sat on the perch above the right-field bullpen at Rogers, they caught sight of a man dressed in white about 25 yards to their right, out among the blue center-field seats. And while the players watched, the man in white seemingly signaled the pitches the visiting pitcher was throwing against the Jays, according to four sources in the bullpen that day. The players weren't exactly sure how the man in white knew what was coming -- maybe, they thought, he was receiving messages via his Bluetooth from an ally elsewhere in the stadium who had binoculars or access to the …
