Among The Sleep, that horror game where you play as an infant in really terrifying nightmares, will be releasing an alpha build demo tomorrow. Currently just $15,000 shy of meeting its Kickstarter goal, Among The Sleep certainly looks like a promising title. The demo will go live on Krillbite’s Kickstarter page at 11AM PDT PDT /2PM EDT /8PM CEST. It’s also worth noting that this will be an earlier version of the game and not the same build that some backers will have access to later this summer.

Valve, today announced Steam Trading Cards, a new service that rewards gamers for gaming on Steam. Released in beta today, Steam Trading Cards allows customers to earn Steam rewards for playing the games they love. Those who participate will receive game-specific trading cards that can be collected to earn rewards such as game badges, profile backgrounds, emoticons, coupons, and more. The group of titles participating in the Steam Trading Cards beta includes Don't Starve, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2 and Half-Life 2. Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey, Red Thread Games' Kickstarter drive to resurrect its dormant Longest Journey series, has ended up with the game almost doubling its target. $1,538,425 was raised for the project. The goal was set at $850,000. Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey is set to be released in November 2014 and will continue the storyline of series protagonist Zoë Castillo.
