Okay so I've been playing Borderlands, and nothing BUT Borderlands, for more than a month. I only went online once with PK and that was it, but I don't really do Xbox Live anymore at all. Those days are over methinks. But anyway, let me get down to it.. Pros: LENGTH: This game is god damned huge. I really respect the developers for the sheer GIRTH of content I have feasted upon. I was pretty thrilled to finally beat every possible mission in Pandora. I thought the grind was behind me, nope! The god damned DLC has like 20 million more missions. The novel started to touch on this sensitive subject matter, but then went into full plot. It was still an excellent read, but I wanted more of the split in humanity. The uprisings, the evil corporations etc. Watch this and you'll understand what I mean. SO GOOD!

I just wanted to make this thread to say how awesome this game is lol. It's not even about it being "sexy" or anything for me, it's just a really slick game. The fighting system is really smooth and fun. And of course I'm into Japanese things lol, and it definitely has a distinctive, quirky style like you'd see in many animes. Has anyone else here played it before?

Anyone besides me pick this one up? I can't really decide whether I like it or not. I thought it was pretty fun for the first half or so, but now that i'm getting towards the end, i'm finding myself just rage quitting because the AI keeps picking the worst paths and always just gets wiped out by lava or water.

This will not come as a shock to anyone who pays attention to how the game industry and/or Capitalism work, but Eurogamer is reporting that Borderlands 2 is in development at Gearbox. Shocking, I know, that a game company would follow up a successful video game with a sequel, but it is reportedly happening.
