Square Enix has decided to delay the release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the ambitious cyberpunk shooter in development at Eidos Montréal. Originally scheduled for the first quarter of 2011, the Deus Ex launch has been pushed into the Japanese publisher's next fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2012. According to a corporate announcement, the delay will allow Eidos more time to "further polish" the project. The demand for greater quality isn't unprompted, as the news came alongside a revision to the company's consolidated results forecast for the fiscal year ending MArch 31, 2011. Forecast net sales were lowered from 160 billion yen to 130 bill…

Great review here: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-08-29-diablo-3-console-review Another really in-depth article on the difference in graphics between versions: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-diablo-3-face-off My thoughts: I can be silent no longer. I almost did not post this because I figured not many around here play consoles anymore so why would anyone care? Then, I figure there might be someone. I picked this up the other day and it is way better than the PC version. Why you ask? Gone is the real money auction house and in place of that is an increased chance to find items in the game itself as it should of been all along. Sure, there …

Ok all as my tradition goes I will try to do these for games that I pickup day one. I have been watching this game for the last couple of months. It sort of came out of nowhere from a game that I was not really interested in to a day one purchase. The more videos and screens I saw the more I wanted the game. I love single player RPGs. I also love games that give me choices as much as possible that also have ramifications on the rest of the characters or world. Choices on how to handle a situation, where to go next, who lives, who dies and different ways of handling situations none of which are wrong. I think it adds replay-ability. You go through again to see how differen…

‘The Awakening’- the first in a three-part Dishonored webisode series entitled ‘The Tales from Dunwall’. These engrossing prequels, scored by Daniel Licht (Dexter) and narrated by Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick Ass), give you a first-hand glimpse into Dishonored’s shadowy whaling world of Dunwall, where plague is rampant and the city is in disarray and on the verge of dystopia. Created by Psyop, each episode was predominantly produced by hand. Each frame was a fully rendered style frame, which was then enhanced with 3D elements to add to the painterly atmosphere, dimension and depth of each shot. Dishonored casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Creatively e…
