Posts that don't belong anywhere else

Skynet goes online at 8pm. I'm in no shape to out run killer robots, so it's been great knowing all of you. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=203785532977845

http://gizmodo.com/#...t-over-yourself Ok, I completely disagree with him 100%. This guy comes across like such a pompous tool and berating his readers that it makes me want to dropkick his forehead. I don't use Facebook. I don't need it. I have email. I have my Droid. I have text messaging, IMs, and most importantly I have REAL LIFE. LoL Facebook isn't for everyone, and to compare it to the revolution in social interaction to the upgrade from landlines to cellphones is moronic IMO. And to say that if you don't have Facebook you don't care about your friends? /facepalm Sure some people may love Facebook and spend a crapload of time on it, but it isn't the end o…

http://www.mediadump.com/hosted-id176-actors-in-character-now-that-is-acting.html I really enjoyed this article. Lots of recognizable actors/actresses making faces based off a description of a scene they're presented with. Lawrence Fishburne FTW. LoL

SEVEN AND A HALF HOURS. WTF. Seriously? And to top it all off it's not like it just defrags once. It went through NINE "passes"? I've never seen that before and I only used the regular Windows system defrag tool. And every "pass" it analyzes, defrags, consolidates and something else I forgot.

Playing Gears 3 beta now. I <3 you all!

Very strange. Tupac shrines, rare German ammo etc. Man.

I don't think a dropkick would have been too excessive for this little punk. The police say they've been called to the school twice before and both times the officers were able to talk the boy down. This time it would seem, that wasn't an option. I'm certain many will use the scapegoat of video games, music and movies, but at what point do we start to look at the parents and demand some amount of responsibility for the actions of there childern? Are we so emasculated as a society, where we're now held as psychological prisoners to our childern and completely afraid to be parents, so ridiculous outburst such as these don't ever make there way outside of the home? Some kids…

With everything in the news being doom and gloom, I thought I would post something a bit more cheery and inspiring. via Fox News READFIELD, Maine -- A 10-year-old boy who earned a spot in a national penmanship contest despite being born without hands is in a league of his own, contest organizers say. Fifth-grader Nicholas Maxim, who writes by holding a pencil between his arms, impressed the judges enough that they created a new category for students with disabilities. Maxim received the first Nicholas Maxim Special Award for Excellent Penmanship this week at a school assembly. The student at Readfield Elementary School is known for his penmanship, even though it's not ea…

iDead after bad idea I guess there is a rash of these robberies all over the country. Crazy.

Bizarre thing that happened way back in 1959, in the mountains of Russia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyatlov_Pass_incident http://www.forteantimes.com/features/articles/1562/the_dyatlov_pass_incident.html Avalanche, UFO, Yeti, military? What do you think?

OMG! I can't believe that U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood actually gave a press-release/statement about the dangers of roadhead. I'm amused and concerned at the same time! http://gizmodo.com/#!5788221/we-must-fight-distracted-driving-by-ending-road-head

I just bought this Queen bed at my local Costco for $399 (with instant rebate at checkout). This bed Is awesome! Anyone needing a bed that's priced right should look into this. We picked it up in a Lexus 4 door. You read that right. It comes wrapped in a box with wheels and a handle. It was easy to take up the stairs and set up! I know this is kind of a random post but with all the terrible beds out there priced higher than this one I thought I'd share my find with you guys! Just wanted to check in with ya'll and say hi! Been thinking about everyone and the site. Hows everyone been?

<a href='http://thebreastmilkbaby.com/' class='bbc_url' title='External link' rel='nofollow external'> /><br /><i><font color="#00ff00">SO WRONG! I don't even have the words to describe this. FoxNews b*tches about stupid video games and I'm surprised they haven't said anything about something like this. Ugh, I can't say it enough. SOOOO WRONG!!!!! Any parent who buys this for a LITTLE GIRL should have her kids taken away IMO.</font></i>

Anyone here read web-comics? My hands down favorite is Ctrl-Alt-Del but I check up on Cyanide and Happiness occasionally. Here is a recent one that cracked me up: Linky.

Pretty amazing technology here. Check out the youtube videos on the right side of the page. lightRadio Mobile I'm in an Aerospace design class and we're hoping to prototype a UAV that utilizes this to provide a cellular hotspot over disaster zones when towers go down.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1368772/Lu-Hao-60kg-9-stone-years-old.html Wow, he's three years old and already weighs over 130lbs. Yikes! Definitely has to be a hormonal problem or something. It's strange though, and I'm not making a racist joke or anything, but can he even see? It's like the fat folds on his face keep his eyes constantly closed from what I see looking at the pictures on the site.

Some the genius in the below video decided to steal someone's laptop. Unfortunately for the thief, the tech saavy owner was able to remotely gain access to the laptop and record the perp doing a little victory dance. http://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/g8x8m/this_idiot_stole_somebodys_laptop_and_the_owner/ Sooooo, after the thief discovered his ridiculous dance moves were being plastered all over Youtube and teh interwebz in general he went onto the victim's Facebook page to post the following apology and request to remove the videos of him online. LOL! What a tool!!! I love the video though.
