Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Watch Dogs, its much-hyped, sadly delayed open world action extravaganza. If you have doubts about the project, this should help immensely: it reveals a city that's seemingly as intricate and dynamic as that of Grand Theft Auto 5.

  9. According to a confirmation by Microsoft late last night, a new zero day vulnerability has been found to affect every version of Internet Explorer. In other words—over a quarter of the entire browser market. Attacks taking advantage of the vulnerability are largely targeting IE versions 9, 10, and 11 in something called a "use after free" attack. Essentially, the attack corrupts data as soon as memory has been released, most likely after users have been lured to phony websites. Microsoft explains: The vulnerability exists in the way that Internet Explorer accesses an object in memory that has been deleted or has not been properly allocated. The vulnerability may corrupt…

  10. CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed via conference call yesterday with investors that the new Star Wars: Battlefront title being worked on by DICE is going "very, very well" although admitting that much work remains to be done on the title. During this June's E3 event you can definitely expect to at least see some footage of the new release but it remains to be seen if the game will actually be in a playable state. EA's conference is slated to be on June 9th but the title may be shown during an earlier E3 event. The last time Battlefront has graced the hands of Star Wars lovers has been in 2004 and 2005 and was developed by Pandemic.

  11. So I picked the game up when it came out last Tuesday and have been playing through it on my PS4. While it's not a terrible game whatsoever, I just feel that the title absolutely does not live up to the expectations and hype that surrounded its prerelease. The game world does not feel very alive to me, in the same manner that titles like GTA felt very "organic" and living. It's hard to describe, but it feels stilted and shallow I guess? I'm also not a huge fan of the driving at all. It feels off to me. I have been enjoying the minigames myself. Spider tank is a real joy to play. The jumping flower psychadelic thing though is weird and difficult, and Cash Run f…

Everything isn't going as well in this lovely country of ours as we may wish, but all we can do is stand up together to make it as it should be. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend with family and friends.

  19. So I've been reading lately that Gamestop has been in talks about their pre-order business plans that would make this whole "exclusive content" shenanigans incredibly worse. Pretty much the idea is that Gamestop wants to move further into this territory by entering into talks with developers before the game even releases so that whole parts of the game are only available to people who pre-order and purchase through them. So we're talking much more than a weapon or character skin here. Oh wow! That new game-mode looks fantastic! Only available if you buy it at Gamestop. Etc, etc. Thoughts?

So is this the test run of Gamestops used game program? Seems a bit excessive, I would not be trading in games if they wanted to finger print me. http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2014/08/01/new-philadelphia-gamestop-policy-requires-customer-fingerprints-when-trading-in-games/ and I know they wont go to this just interesting what some stores will do.
