Hello Everyone! This is just an update on the fan fiction Ive been talking about. Ive posted a lot of topics saying that I would be posting a new fan fiction soon, and I promise all of you there will be one soon. I haven't been slacking though, I have been working hard on a few fan fictions that I know you will enjoy. There are three games so far that I am writing fan fictions for: 1. Fallout: New Vegas 2. Mass Effect 3. Skyrim (or the Elder Scrolls in general) I want my fan fictions to stand of from the rest, so Ive been spending a lot of time on them. It isnt something you can do overnight, Ive spent so much time coming up with a story, characters, and a bunch of other…

Popular video game consoles such as Nintendo's Wii and Microsoft's Xbox 360 may resemble the new battlefields for national security in the eyes of the U.S. military. The U.S. Navy has begun funding a project to hack previously owned game consoles in an effort to dig up gamers' online chat room information and other stored data. U.S. console gamers can breathe a tiny sigh of relief for now, because the current project forbids targeting "U.S. persons." Instead, the Navy wants a California-based company called Obscure Technologies to buy video game consoles bought in used overseas markets, and to create computer forensic tools capable of hacking such consoles. "This project …

Count the months on your knuckles and the grooves between your knuckles. Leave out your thumb knuckle. Every month that lands on a knuckle is 31 days, every month that lands on a groove between knuckles is 30 days (or 28 for February). http://lifehacker.com/232828/macgyver-tip-use-your-knuckles-to-remember-each-months-days

At a recent telecom conference, a Verizon CFO indicated that there will be no plans going forward to offer unlimited data plans, even to customers (like myself) who have grandfathered contracts. The change will occur when customers upgrade to a LTE device (higher data speeds). Fuuuuuuuu....... I knew it was too good to be true, and my upgrade comes up in July.

This is extremely interesting to me: http://www.google.com/insights/search/#q=%22violent%20video%20games%22 This graph shows how over the last ten years the rate at which media reports on violent video games rises and falls at exactly the same rate! Every year! It spikes in April, then everyone shuts up for the summer.. then right before Xmas it picks up again. I love stuff like this! It shows how robotic and sheeplike humans are. They just do the same thing over and over forever. I understand why soccer moms aren't interested in taking their children's games away in the summer (lol) but why does it spike in April every year?

by Mona Ibrahim Deus Ex and Disney Epic Mickey creator Warren Spector opened PAX Prime in Seattle, an empowering Gamasutra-attended keynote today, with a call for gamers to look beyond the celebration of geekdom so that the industry as a whole can move toward the mainstream. "After years of facing insecurity and rejection while striving for mainstream acceptance, Spector suggested that game culture has finally reached a 'Golden Age', noting: "Every medium that has lasted has gone through this. It’s gone through what we’re going through today.” Not long ago, he suggested, game culture was largely a collection of adolescent males with a decidedly geeky tilt. Now we see peop…
