  2. From http://hyperboleanda...everything.html The Alot is Better Than You at Everything As a grammatically conscientious person who frequents internet forums and YouTube, I have found it necessary to develop a few coping mechanisms. When someone types out "u" instead of "you," instead of getting mad, I imagine them having only one finger on each hand and then their actions seem reasonable. If I only had one finger on each hand, I'd leave out unnecessary letters too! If I come across a person who seems to completely ignore the existence of apostrophes and capital letters and types things like "im an eagle and im typing with my talons, so dont make fun of me cuz th…

  3. Kashmir Hill covers privacy issues for Forbes magazine. She does this job very well. She is, in fact, so dedicated to her beat that when she had a few hours to kill while visiting Utah she decided it would be fun to go take a look at the massive data center that the National Security Agency is building about 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City. Officer #2, who seemed slightly older than the first but who also carried a little green notebook to record what we had to say, told us he would like for me to delete the photos, and mentioned that it would be easier if we did and that we could be charged with a crime for trespassing and for taking the photos. Honestly,…

  4. The U.S. National Security Agency has the ability to snoop on nearly every communication sent from an Apple iPhone, according to leaked documents shared by security researcher Jacob Appelbaum and German news magazine Der Spiegel. An NSA program called DROPOUTJEEP allows the agency to intercept SMS messages, access contact lists, locate a phone using cell tower data, and even activate the device’s microphone and camera. 5. This is the Official Uno Competition Thread. Within here you can find the rules, prizes, and sign up to play. If you have any questions feel free to send me (Avahra) a message through here, twitter, xbox live, etc. Why Uno? We choose UNO because it's fun. It's an easy game for anyone to play. It's also a great social game, so we can get to know each other better. And it's a lot of fun. RULES 1) You must enter the contest to play. Anyone who enters is eligible to win prizes. 2) You have to be 15+. This is due to the mature nature of conversations you can probably expect. 3) Respect. You will respect your fellow gamers at all times during this competition. Racism, sexism,e…

  6. Ladies and Gentlemen, the shitstorm surround the newly released The War Z is brewing, and personally this Panda is more outraged at the retard-monkeys-who-made-the-game (read: "developer") over their most recent comments than I am about the blatant lies posted on Steam for the game description. But let's start from the beginning shall we? I've never played Arma, nor it's popular zombie/survival mod DayZ, but I hear it's a "thing" lately. As it is with any popular flava-o-da-month you can bet your sweet little panda ass that there are going to be copycats (look at the literally double digit amounts of indie Minecraft clones on XBox's Marketplace). Enter Hammerpoint Inter…

  7. Greeting fellow Gamercidists and random internet guests. Pretty much all of you know who I am and most of you have been subjected to my random and quite frequently repulsive/gross/strange/obscure postings around these forums. But for those who don't know me here goes. My name is Chris, my avatar has always been a panda, and frequently I come across things that downright piss me off. Enter the Pejorative Panda. This month saw the release of a game I was greatly looking forward to and yet at the same I was extremely concerned over the new direction the sequel was taking. The game in question was Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor. Heavily relying on the use of Microsoft's…

  8. The new Resident Evil 6 is getting frigging SLAMMED in the reviews today. I don't mean "Oooo, it got an 8 so it must be bad" sort of slammed which is the norm for supposed AAA titles. I'm talking like ~69 average on Metacritic, with "popular" sites like Joystiq and such giving it a 50/100. Even Gamespot gave it a 4.5. Yeah, the game sucks, and I knew it was going to happen. Call me a purist for the series if you want, but back when I was "reviewing" games I absolutely destroyed Resident Evil 5 when I wrote it up. I hated almost everything about it, I loathed the direction the series was taking, and I gave it an equally shitty score to reflect that sentiment. For a gen…

  10. Last week we posted one of the gameplay videos for Megaman Universe. It evoked classic Mega Man gameplay…almost a bit TOO classic, as the stages seemed to resemble remixes of stages from Mega Man 2. And we still had no clue about the special characters that would guest star (Ryu and American Box Art Man). Well, Capcom Unity has revealed the nature of Mega Man Universe. The people behind the new stages and characters won’t be the Capcom designers but the Mega Man Universe players. Taking cues from Little Big Planet, Mega Man Universe will allow players to not only customize and create their own unique robotic hero from various parts of classic, new, and guest characters…

Found this on Gizmodo. I find it highly amusing how some people banter back and forth and edit Wiki pages in a nonstop barrage of point/counterpoint. Some of them are stupid, like spellings of things like Sulfur/Sulphur, Aluminum/Aluminium, etc. Some of them are strange, asking questings like "Should a picture of an Anus be included on the source page? Male or Female? Hairless or "moderately hairy". I can't believe that over ten thousand edits have been made over Ann Coulter's birthday. Wow... LoL Enjoy!.

  19. Microsoft, one of the titan’s in the busniess world has brought down the world’s largest spam network, Rustock. Rustock which was formed around 2006, ran from computers running Microsoft Windows and was capable of sending out 25,000 spam messages an hour from an infected PC according to the wiki for the spambot. While working with federal agents, Microsoft’s Digital Crimes Unit was able to attain some of the machines that were running the virus spreader and were able to work with different countries like China and Netherlands to begin the process of disabling the program that was out of the United States. Microsoft later joined forces with Pfizer, FireEye, and the Unive…
