Developed by: Arrowhead Studios Published by: Paradox Interactive Platforms: PC Players: 1-4 You already know we here at Gamercide love Magicka. But does the new DLC stand up to the greatness and originality of the main game, or will it just leave you with nightmarish Vietnam flashbacks? Magicka: Vietnam is a fairly small DLC. It consists of two new Challenge maps, and adds nothing to adventure mode. However one of the challenge modes is structured similarly to adventure mode, with three screens you must make your way through to complete the level. The other mode is a new arena with just one small area to face waves of the new enemy types just like the other arena…

For a limited time only, purchase a Kinect sensor on Amazon and receive 50% off of “select” Kinect titles. There are a couple of workout gems in the pile of mostly rubbish “select” titles like Your Shape Fitness Evolved and The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout. The other titles aren’t even worth a second glance or a mention. via Amazon Tweet This Post View the full article

  6. Valve’s Gabe Newell is most likely doing one of two things at the moment. He’s either swimming in a huge pile of money received from piling $80+ of Day 1 DLC onto the widely anticipated release of Portal 2, or yelling at his computer monitor as he reads the hundreds of negative reviews currently being posted on Metacritic about it. PC players have flooded the user reviews of Metacritic with anger and confusion, delivering what is essentially a digital bitchslap that drove down the average review score for the game currently to a stellar 5.8! For comparison at the moment, Homefront which is a game considered to be a failure at launch and drove stocks in THQ crashing …

  8. “Unfortunately, the circumstances didn’t allow us to make a 360 exclusive,” stated Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon in a statement to Eurogamer regarding the question that left many wondering why the Xbox 360 did not get an exclusive character like the Playstation 3 version did with one of Sony’s most recognizable characters, Kratos from the God of War series. With the tight lippedness that is going on around NetherRealm Studios many are speculating that NetherRealm wanted to include Master Chief or Marcus Fenix however their contract with Sony regarding the exclusive Kratos has some underlying terms about what the term “exclusive” meant or that Microsoft wants to add an ico…

So I have two Xboxes. I bought Bulletstorm Epic Edition and my wife is using the big TV to watch movies. So I thought, no biggie, I'll use the 27" LED LCD PC Monitor that the other system is hooked up to. Threw in my copy of Bulletstorm and went to try to play. Nope. Not going to happen. I get prompted to purchase another Online Pass. So I look in the download list, and nope, can't re-download/activate it. Put in my code again. "Invalid". Apparently you cannot play on more than one console EVEN IF IT'S THE SAME F*CKING GAMERTAG. Gah. I blamming hate EA and this crap. I read through the EA Online Pass card's disclosure about 20 times now and NO WHERE does it say …

But does it live up to the charm and originality of the first game? Short answer: YES. Portal 2 is every bit as good as the first, and better in almost every way. From beginning to end, it had a much more cinematic feel to it, with more characters involved and much, MUCH larger set pieces…
