Movies and TV

Anybody see it? I wasn't planning to and didn't think it would be to great, but was surprised. I thought the ending was pretty good to, if a bit....scratch that, totally, messed up.

This is the biggest piece of shit I have ever seen. I will have to say, hands down it's the worst movie ever made. Usually if a movie is bad I turn it off and move along, this movie was just flat out stupid. It's about four annoying girls acting like men. There have never ever been any females that have ever behaved like them ever. Don't waste your time on this garbage.

Saw the new Star Trek today in 3D. Only because it was the same time Epic was playing. Not a bad movie. The acttion was good and the new group hits the old very well. The plot was well.....from the 90's...lol. But if your up for a good sci fi....id see it

Let the Internet Melt down begin cause no matter what happens people are gonna freak, I am excited for the new film though as long as it is a good story they should be ok. The Force has been released. John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join original stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in “Star Wars: Episode VII.” Disney and Lucasfilm made the announcement Tuesday. The plan is for a May 2014 start date so while a deadline wasn’t looming given how long the shoot was expected decisions needed to be made in case scheduling conflicts were to …

I dont think I could come up with a better script, I would definately see this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=5BBhNkywMJY

Anyone watch anything Stargate related or am I the only who does? I'm only mentioning this because of the supposed stargate trilogy reboot is going on and I'm a big fan of it.

People have to be watching it. Has to be one of the best first seasons of a show I've seen in a long time. Next week's Sabotage looks interesting

Alright, say what you will, but this film interests me for some reason. I have no idea why. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIMfUbRLLuM&

Ahhh shit!

At this point, I'm sure everyone knows about this Netflix series. If you haven't seen it, I can't speak highly enough of this show. If you enjoy an 80's feel and setting, this show is for you. The Duffer Brothers aren't afraid to wear their love for things like E.T., Stephen King, Stand By Me, The Goonies, Dungeons and Dragons, and NUMEROUS other 80's influences on their sleeves. Each episode gets better and better as you try and figure out what is going on. You get invested with the main characters so much. The acting is amazing from a cast of kids that WILL be all stars. Also, Winona Ryder deserves so much credit for her role here. Again, if you're a fan of the 80's, th…

The owners of AMC Network want a near 50% increase over what they were paid last year, and a greater than 100% increase in annual payments by the end of their new proposed contract. Those demands are outrageous and unfair to Suddenlink customers. New York City-based AMC Networks claims it needs these increases to please Wall Street expectations. These demands are outrageous anytime, let alone in this economy, and are unfair to Suddenlink customers. We have asked AMC Networks to reconsider, but so far, they have refused, and have threatened to withdraw permission to carry their channels if we do not meet their demands. We will continue negotiating with them, in an effort…

So has anyone seen it yet. I went last Saturday

J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg are teaming up to make J.J.'s next film, Super 8. Very little is known at this point, but if you saw Iron Man 2 this past weekend, you probably saw the trailer. This will be a very Spielberg-esque film, a la Close Encounters or E.T. It will be released under Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment label and set in 1979. Trailer below looks AMAZING if you are a J.J./Spielberg fan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPcta5V5dA0

Anyone see it yet? I just watched it on bluray and I really loved it. Brought me back to some of my favorite media as a child. A mixture of The Goonies, E.T., Independence Day, X-files, Red Dawn, ect. Growing up in the 80's really made it that much more nostalgic for me.

The movie will be titled Superman & Batman according to The Los Angeles Times Snyder will direct the film, slated for 2015 and according to The Hollywood Reporter Henry Cavill will reprise the role of Clark Kent/Superman, but it’s unclear who will play Batman. Man of Steel screenwriter David S. Goyer will pen the script. Sources also told the Reporter that the film will be part of the build up for a 2017 release for the Justice League movie. http://www.wired.com/underwire/2013/07/superman-and-batman-movie-comic-con/

The hits just keep coming from Syfy. You've seen the Sharktopus trailer, but this one rivals that one. It is a Jaws tribute film and honestly doesn't look too bad:
