Movies and TV

As some of you may know, or maybe not, they are making a live action Americanized version of Akira. Albert Hughes (The Book of Eli) is set to direct, but the big rumor is that James Franco would be playing Kaneda. Thoughts on this? Source

lol wtf iuno

Thoughts? WHAT CAN POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

i myself hate tim burton so i liked kevin smiths story. it's really not that bad towards burton if you are a fan i thought it was pretty funny.

Anyone catch this show on comedy central? Me and my roommate were cracking up. I don't know how to post a youtube video on here, but here's a link to a sketch entitled Enjoy mon freres.

I watched this movie tonight and I really enjoyed it. It was a lot more mature than I was exspecting and Hella fun to watch. I think for me the soundtrack was what sealed the deal for me, it was epic and had a lot of surprise appearances highlighted by john Murphy's "surface of the sun" which I first heard in The film Sunshine. Love that tune! If you like movies like killbill, any super hero movie, tiny bit of superbad, and a lot of john woo check it out.

Re-watched this and still love it. Genndy Tartakovsky had a hand in this. Wish it had become a series.

It comes out tomorrow! I loved the first one, definitely tied with the first Shrek for my favorite 3D animated movie of all time. I'll hopefully be going to see it tomorrow afternoon. Anyone else plan on seeing it?

Mature content. *edit* lol at thumbnail for video

Has anyone went to see this film yet? I've been wanting to check it out for awhile and haven't gotten around to it yet. I've heard some great things about it though. If anyone has seen it, I'm curious to know what you thought. <param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Zl7S1LaPMU?version=3&hl=en_US"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Zl7S1LaPMU?version=3&…

Took my boys 4,7,15 to the movie and they all liked it, they are still quoting it several days later. The movie is funny and the Batman character and star wars scenes were my favorite, good story as well. Would recommend this film for any kids.

This is the American remake of "Let the Right One In". If you haven't seen the original, I highly recommend it. It is a Swedish film, so it is subtitled. Very good though. Original Swedish version still streams on Netflix.

It's juvenile and immature, but I fucking love this new show.

Really good series starring Tim Roth. It's on Netflix too. Anyone ever seen it? The show was cancelled after 2 seasons I think, but I really like it.

I thought we needed a Lost thread. So, yeah. Who here watches Lost, and what did you think of last night's episode?
