Its getting closer to halloween but this would probably creep me out a bit, although I wouldnt be angry with the person, it is kinda funny/cool, and they have a good costume. http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/local-national/uk/creepy-northampton-clown-terrifying-residents-by-standing-around-on-street-corners-staring-at-passersby-29584319.html

  5. This is pretty sad news for me really. The A-10 has long been one of the absolute coolest assault planes I've ever laid my eyes on. I have fond memories of playing the old A-10 Warthog PC games and I liked flying them in flight sims and arcade games (like Ace Combat). What always blew my mind was the idea that this plane pretty much was just a ridiculously massive gun that someone decided to build a plane around. I present the GAU-8 for your consideration. Capable of absolutely obliterating any damn ground target, rattling out 30mm depleted uranium shells at a rate of 4200/min that seriously hit the ground before you even heard them fired from the plane itself, t…

Johnny Hendricks the moment the final horn sounded to end the fight' The official scorecard For those that didn't watch, GSP won in a split decision. It has people freaking out pretty badly. I haven't watched it yet, but I was in Teamspeak with a friend who was watching it and he couldn't talk for a few minutes. He said Hendricks was seriously robbed and that no way GSp should have taken the first round. Anyone else watch it? I'd love to hear your views on it.

It’s always a bit of a shocking event when the lion and the lamb go quietly walking around together like they’re meant to be together. Which is why it’s a bit of a head scratcher to hear that Mozilla — the company that once ticked off the advertising industry by announcing plans to test a patch to block third party cookies by default — will now be displaying ads right from inside its browser. Last year a top lobbyist from the Interactive Advertising Bureau called Mozilla’s default block on third-party ads a “nuclear strike” on the industry,AdAge points out, but the two groups are certainly a bit friendlier now: Mozilla says in a blog post today that it’ll start selling …

  8. Go check out this link over on io9. I'm too lazy to re-host the imagery and copy and paste it over here, but holy crap some of these are downright strange, plus a few descriptions made me laugh. http://io9.com/20-weird-insane-and-extremely-disturbing-barbie-dolls-1682800231/ Goddess of the Galaxy Barbie is kind of wigging me out lol.

So I've been writing my entire life, as most of you who've known me already know. Usually I share it with a few people but never really put myself out there. I finally sucked it up and started sending out short stories to lit magazines to see if I could get any bites. I collected a handful of things I had written recently, had some other inspiring author friends pick their favorite and sent it out to a couple lit magazines. I just got my first rejection. I anticipated being rejected, these magazines have really shit/low acceptation rates. but it doesn't lessen the sting of it any less. So anyways, here is the short story that was ultimately rejected (their l…

So today marks Day 5 of eating (drinking) only Soylent. If you haven't heard of it, it's supposed to be a quick meal that provides all your daily nutrients. Day 1 was a little tough purely for the sake of the taste of it. I'd rate it somewhere between sawdust and oatmeal. However I haven't been hungry at all since I switched over. It also helps that you prepare a batch for the day in the morning, then for every meal you simply grab a cup of the stuff and chug. My time spent preparing food and eating has gone from 1-2 hours to about 15 minutes total in a day. Plus it seems to be helping turn the tide on my weight gain lately. So that's a bonus point. Anyone else con…

Just wanted to post here while I fight sleep before going back to work tomorrow. Been off for 11 days and have to go back tomorrow. Love vacation, but damn, that first day back, sucks. Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. We ended up grilling some good burgers, and I actually played some games. My grass is about three feet tall, and I have to deal with that tomorrow. However, it was worth procrastinating.
