A forthcoming Justice Department report on the Ferguson Police Department has found that city officials engage in practices that discriminate against black residents and routinely violate the Constitution and federal law, according to officials familiar with the results of the investigation. The formal report, expected to be released Wednesday, largely blames the Missouri city for breeding mistrust of the police through its policies. I highly doubt you'll see this story on your local news, and probably not even on cable news. These are the sort of acts advocates have to do, just to try and get the president or anyone in office, to talk about hemp. If anyone tries to start a dialog about it, it gets pushed aside. There is no drug value in hemp. It can contain trace amounts of THC, but you'd need a whole field of it to catch a buzz, and no one is going to smoke that much. There is far too many great things you can do with hemp, and absolutely ZERO reasons why it needs to be illegal. http://www.newser.com/story/147875/cops-collar-hemp-grower-caged-outside-white-house.html

What did he do to honor the memory of his feline friend? The cat was named Orville (after Orville Wright), and the artist is an RC Helicopter enthusiast. So he did what any other crazy "artist" would do. He taxidermied up his roadkill kitty, slapped a motor inside of him and drilled some propellers to his paws to make The Orvillecopter. And yes, it flies. Not very well, but it flies. http://tinyurl.com/7vflqkm
