Happy St Patrick's day all! Hope you have a great day today and have a great start to your weeks! Today has been pretty awesome for me personally so far. I went to a huge local benefit concert this past week that had 18 bands playing. Anyways, while I was standing at the bar there were these little flyers from our local rock music radio station about some contest they were having today and them playing a song between 10 and 10:30. I remember glancing at it briefly and didn't pay much attention considering I'd be at work and we don't really listen to that station here (inappropriate lol). Long story short, I pretty much forgot about it. This morning had to go …

The developer of fan favorite Rock Band has found a new home. Viacom sold Harmonix to Harmonix-SBE Holdings LLC on Thursday, December 23. What does this mean for gamers who own Harmonix’s Rock Band and Dance Central? Absolutely nothing at the moment. “We’re excited to be returning to our roots as an independent and privately owned studio. As for what it means for you, the DLC schedule marches on for Rock Band, we will continue our support of previously released titles and we’re hard at work on some unannounced projects that we think you’re going to be pumped about,” stated Harmonix. Viacom first announced that they were looking to sell Harmonix about a month ago which …

"NASA will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 2, to discuss an astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life." I'm excited. Anyone else?

What a scam. I've never tried it myself, but my brother in law likes to tell me how good it is. I'm wondering if I should share this link with him now. See how you've been fooled into paying exorbitant prices for something that is not Kobe beef http://www.forbes.com/sites/larryolmsted/2012/04/12/foods-biggest-scam-the-great-kobe-beef-lie/

Camacho, 50, was gravely injured in a drive-by shooting in Puerto Rico on Tuesday night. Torres said Camacho suffered a heart attack early Wednesday, worsening his condition, and at one point his heart had stopped. Torres said an initial test showed Camacho had a low level of brain activity and two more tests were being carried out. "We are keeping him alive with medicine. He is a strong guy," he said. "We can maintain him several days like this to see if there is an improvement. Macho's situation is very delicate. The prognosis is very poor," Torres added. The boxer's mother, Maria Matias, arrived in Puerto Rico and was discussing Camacho's medical condition with doctors…

So I don't usually buy stock. I'm not rich and I don't have a lot to invest. Back when Netflix had it's IPO (Initial Public Offering) on the stock market I really encouraged my father to purchase stock in the company. I think the shares were around $40? He balked at it and didn't do anything, and then a few years later used to complain when I showed him stocks were over $250. Aaaaand then came the big crash back in October. Stocks got back down to around $62 and selling due to the poor outlook, losing customers and increased pricing structure (not the mention the Qwikster debacle). I told him to buy again. I knew Netflix was about to expand to EU markets and with t…

Lionhead Studios is reaching out to Fable fans for their input to help decide the fate of Albion with a survey. The quick survey asks which features like british humor, customizing your character, being a hero, co-op, and more you prefer over the others. You rank each of them from 13 being the highest to 1 being the lowest. Hopefully Lionhead will take the time to read the surveys, because with how Fable III turned out, they will need all the help they can get for the next one. via Games Radar View the full article

So, I'm going to break down and pay full price for a game. Something I haven't done in a long ass time. I've narrowed it down to a few choices and wanted to get your help. Below are the options: Gears of War Judgement God of War Ascension Sly Cooper 4 Injustice: Gods Among Us I'm leaning towards Injustice. I've really dug the comics and the iOS version is getting the hell played out of it. Already have Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Dishonored, X-Com...blah blah blah.... On Friday March 11, many of us awoke from our peaceful slumber to find out that Japan has been changed forever. Since the massive 9.0 earthquake, Tsunami, and aftershocks that rocked the world, heart breaking news has been coming about 30 young children still waiting in a classroom for parents that will never pick them up again, civilians becoming everyday heroes by making rescue attempts, and proof that even dogs can be heroes as well. As money pours in to help those that lost everything, PopCap has come forward and announced that they are partnering with the Red Cross to help raise money. Beginning on Saturday, March 19 all of PopCap’s games that are available on the …
