  1. Is Valve out to get the industry giant EA or has EA completely lost their mind? EA is once again pointing the finger at Valve after Dragon Age II was taken off of Valve’s downloadable service, Steam. Last month Crysis 2 disappeared off of the download list and Alice: Madness Returns was late to appear on Steam after it released. Since then EA has been on the defensive saying that this is Valve’s doing and has nothing to do with EA’s online EA Store. via 1up Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the full article

The digitally downloaded game will time out when the game is available at retail and consumers have the option to purchase the same full game on disc at retai…

Epic Games has announced that Gear of War 3 will support 3D and as a result the highly anticipated shooter has to run at a lower resolution but insists that the graphics difference is not a big deal. “It’s a little bit jaggier in certain areas. Instead of 720p you’re at five something,” said Executive Gears Producer Rob Fergusson. He further explained that the idea to make Gears of War 3 3D friendly came a bit late in the development stage. “It was something that came in really late in our process. It wasn’t something where we said, OK, we’re going to design the game from the ground up for 3D. It was more of a post-process 3D, where we’re like, OK, certain things need t…

To prevent any on-going confusion we would like to clarify From Dust PC will release with DRM requiring a one-time only online activation. After which you will be able to play the game offline. We hope this clears any outstanding confus…

Cutting fruit. Sounds simple right? Well, when put in game form it becomes an astonishingly addictive concept. You are a ninja whose sole purpose is to cut fruit. Previously it was limited to the mobile market. Deft finger flicks would allow you to slice through fruit and avoid bombs. Can Halfbrick bring this same game play to Kinect? If you’ve played the mobile version, you know the deal here. Fruit is thrown up on the screen and you have to use your hands to slice it. Slicing multiple fruit at once gives you multipliers and you gain more points. Occasionally, game ending or point sapping bombs will be thrown across. Don’t slice those. “Slicing” may be a bit g…
