Like a politician, Square Enix has flopped their opinion of a Final Fantasy VII remake and instead they are now stating that they a Final Fantasy VII remake will happen when another Final Fantasy title can exceed the quality of Final Fantasy VII. I personally can think of one Final Fantasy that has already done that a long ago, but that’s beside the point. This announcement comes one month after Square said that a Final Fantasy VII “is not a priority” and that “new titles take precedence” despite the fact that a Final Fantasy X HD remake was confirmed back in 2011′s Tokyo Game Show. I believe someone needs to cast Esuna on Square Enix because they are completely blind…

A woman who could not handle her husband’s noobish love for Modern Warfare 3 has placed him up for sale on Craigslist, but only as a “joke” of course. “I am selling my 22 year old husband. He enjoys eating and playing video games all day. Easy to maintain, just feed and water every 3-5 hours. You must have Internet and space for gaming. Got tired of waiting so free to good home. If acceptable replacement is offered will trade.” states the ad. Kyle, her husband that is up for sale finds it hilarious and says that his wife supports his gaming habits. “I love my wife. She supported me when I got the game. We stayed until midnight to get the game when it first came out. It’…

Developed by: Arrowhead Game Studios Published by: Paradox Interactive Platforms: PC Players: 1-4 Rated T (Teen) by the ESRB What happens when you combine the style and humor of Castle Crashers with gameplay reminiscent of Diablo? Magic happens. Or rather Magicka happens, to be more precise. That's not to say that Magicka is very much like either of those games, rather it has a very distinct style of its own. But like Castle Crashers it is a stylish, humorous, and fun experience that can be played and enjoyed with friends, and like Diablo the game has very smooth, isometric gameplay where you can run around slaughtering hordes of monsters and fiends to your hearts content…

In a surprising and not so scandalous news flash, Sony’s Playstation 3 sales are finally catching up to Microsoft’s sales of the Xbox 360. Sony released their financial reports for the Q2 fiscal year and show that the Playstation has moved 55.5 million units worldwide, just about catching and placing them in position to be on the verge of passing their rival console, the Xbox 360 which has moved 56.7 million units worldwide. It is nice to see something good coming out of Sony’s camp instead of the usual hackfest that it seems has been haunting the brand since the beginning of the year. via MCV Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the full article

Perhaps one of the most interesting rumors surrounding the still rumored and not confirmed next Xbox is a recent rumor that the next console will not allow the useage of used games. This nasty little rumor began on Kotaku when they cited their sources that claimed that whenever the Xbox 720 is released, the console will automatically say a big fat no when the user puts a used game into the tray. Before the subscribers of Gamefly and lovers of used games at Gamestop get their panties into a bunch, the Xbox 720 itself hasn’t even been confirmed or mentioned by Microsoft, let alone this little rumor. So take a big deep breath and go back to playing. via IGN Tweet This Po…
