Movies and TV

Went and saw this last night, it does the original justice and was a good movie, also leaves open a storyline like the original. I hope they decide to do a movie that continues the story.

This is the part I was waiting for! (part 1, and then part 2). It was the best book in the series. And it did NOT disappoint!! I cried, and so did most of the packed theatre. There were even some laughs too. It was so good. I LOVE that they stick completely to the storyline. They don't change anything. The makeup (idk it was probably CGI) was awesome. Bella gets so sick when she is pregnant, the baby completely drains her of everything. So much so that she looks like a skeleton with skin. I don't wanna say too much and ruin it for anyone who sees it. I would love to talk about it when its been out for awhile. Hopefully some of you see it. It is definately worth the wait!…

Anyone see it yet? I just watched it on bluray and I really loved it. Brought me back to some of my favorite media as a child. A mixture of The Goonies, E.T., Independence Day, X-files, Red Dawn, ect. Growing up in the 80's really made it that much more nostalgic for me.

I'll see this just to see Snooki get jacked up.

So, me and a group of friends usually go to each others house every weekend and chill/watch movies. The general genre of movies we like are horror movies, but so far the movies we've watched are anything but scary. Does anyone have any recommendations of good horror movies on Netflix that we can watch?

Cannot wait. The Hobbit was a great story.

I would so watch like every single one of these!!! Anyways, the idea is what if popular movies were made during another time? Taking popular movies over the past years, rewinding the actors and throwing in different directors to and creating movie posters for these ideas. The results are interesting, sometimes hilarious, and certainly make me want to actually SEE most of these if they were real. http://www.behance.n...niverse/2783319 Damn , I can't embed them all in a second post since the format switch goes ahead and just adds my comments to my original post. Oh well. You can click the others or visit the site in the top link.

So what if the Nazi's had a secret base in Antartica, developed anti-gravity, and started launching spaceships to the moon to set up a secret base on the dark side of the moon in 1945 with hopes of returning when the time is right to conquer the Earth? Fast foward to 2018 and the first American moon landing since the 70's and you've got the plot for Iron Sky. Looks kind of cool. lol

Has anyone watched this show? Its freakin hilarious! Its on truTV on thursday nights. I can't actually open the videos on youtube for some reason, but heres a link to some clips on youtube. You gotta check it out! http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=impractical+jokers&oq=impractical+joker&aq=0&aqi=g2g-z1g5g-z1g1&aql=1&gs_sm=c&gs_upl=2165l3881l0l7955l6l4l0l3l3l0l239l239l2-1l1l0

The owners of AMC Network want a near 50% increase over what they were paid last year, and a greater than 100% increase in annual payments by the end of their new proposed contract. Those demands are outrageous and unfair to Suddenlink customers. New York City-based AMC Networks claims it needs these increases to please Wall Street expectations. These demands are outrageous anytime, let alone in this economy, and are unfair to Suddenlink customers. We have asked AMC Networks to reconsider, but so far, they have refused, and have threatened to withdraw permission to carry their channels if we do not meet their demands. We will continue negotiating with them, in an effort…

Uh huh

I'm still baffled that this will be in 3D.

Wow. F*cking dubstep. In a Dexter promo of all things. Dubstep is like an evil entity that seeks to infect everything I know and make me hate the things I once liked. If the next big Final Fantasy game has dubstep music I will DESTROY EVERYTHING THAT EVER LIVED! GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xPch00BZGk Jessie Lange and Chloe Sivigny! Holy shit.

Does anyone watch this show? It's hosted by Stephen Fry. It's a game show where they bring in famous British actors and actresses and whatnot and comedians. They get asked difficult questions and you score points based off of either being interesting, getting the answer, or being funny. It's one of the best shows I've watched in a while.

Anyone watched this show before? I've heard about it a ton, but never bothered to check into it. I saw the promo last night while I was waiting for Dexter to air, and it looks incredibly interesting. I got the first season and I'm about to begin watching it soon. It's got a pretty unique premise from what I know about it.
