Bethesda and Zenimax Online Studios are facing a huge backlash from PC gamers over The Elder Scrolls Online subscription system. The Elder Scrolls Online forum has lit up with angry gamers who were surprised to find out that Zenimax is placing a hold on their bank accounts for a full 30 days with the $14.99 a month subscription, despite having free 30 day access to the game. In order to play the Elder Scrolls MMO, gamers have to store their debit or credit card information first. Unfortunately if you do not store your card information, you cannot play the game that you just purchased. Some gamers have also claimed that Zenimax has already taken the payment out of their accounts which they did not authorize. Gamers who planned on using prepaid game time cards are also having issues, because the prepaid game time cards are not available at many retailers yet. Zenimax did release a statement regarding the pre-authorize subscription issue stating; "We want everyone who purchased ESO to have immediate access to the included 30 days of ESO game time. In the event that you enter your payment information for authorization and the transaction cancels due to lack of funds in your account, please contact our Support Team. Telltale has released a few details regarding the highly anticipated episodic series, Tales From The Borderlands. The episodes will take place after the events in Borderlands 2. Telltale has teased that gamers will have to decide which of the two characters; Fiona who is con-artist or Rhys who is a Hyperion worker is lying or if they both are telling the truth. Telltale also said that characters that are familiar to the series will return in Tales From The Borderlands, however the game will not be set around those characters. It is rumored that Handsome Jack and Marcus Kincaid will be two of those characters returning after their names appeared on the character list on the wikia page for Tales From The Borderlands. Telltale's co-founder Kevin Bruner spoke about Tales From The Borderlands stating, "You never really play what actually happened, you're playing this Big Fish version of what happened." Microsoft has released an update for the Xbox One's wireless controller for those of you who have purchased the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. There is a draw back to updating your Xbox One's wireless controller through this download. There are a bunch of steps in order for it to be updated! Once you are signed into your Xbox One and on Xbox Live, plug in the Stereo Headset adapter into the bottom of your wireless controller followed by plugging in the other end to the Xbox One. Make sure to also plug in a headset! Next you will want to plug the USB cord into both your wireless controller and the Xbox One. According to IGN, the update should begin right away, however if not you will have to select the menu button on the controller and choose Settings. Once Settings has been chosen, select the System menu and choose Controller Update. The update should only take a few minutes depending on your connection speed. In case you were curious, the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter will cost you $24.99. I completely agree. All of these games coming out in the next couple of months for next gen consoles are available for the 360 or PS3. I want a true next gen game. Not one available for those consoles or that has been previously released. One that was developed with next gen technology for next gen consoles.

Bioware's Mass Effect trilogy may see a release on both the PS4 and Xbox One in the future. Details on a re-mastered release of the Mass Effect trilogy for the PS4 and Xbox One are not set in stone, however Bioware has confirmed that the topic has been discussed. "We have discussed that internally. If we can put solid plans together we'll share. Great to hear you're keen," posted Bioware's Edmonton and Montreal studios general manager Aaryn Flynn when asked on Twitterif Bioware has considered releasing a next gen version of the Mass Effect trilogy. Currently, Bioware is working on another installment to the Mass Effect franchise. In a previous comment posted on Bioware's forum by Chris Priestly, it was stated that this will not be Mass Effect 4 as they are done telling Commander Shepherd's story. "To call the next game Mass Effect 4 or ME4 is doing it a disservice and seems to cause a lot of confusion here. We have already said that the Commander Shepard trilogy is over and that the next game will not feature him/her. That is the only detail you have on the game. I see people saying 'well, they'll have to pick a canon ending'. No, because the game does not have to come after. Or before. Or off to the side. Or with characters you know. Or yaddayaddayadda. Wherever, whenever, whoever, etc will all be revealed years down the road when we actually start talking about it. "I do not call the game ME4 when I talk about it ever, because [sic] that makes people think of it more as 'what happens after Mass Effect 3' rather than 'what game happens next set in the Mass Effect Universe', which is far more accurate at this point. Microsoft has announced a permanent price cut on Xbox One consoles in the UK. Xbox One consoles will be available in the UK for a reduced price of £399.99 beginning on Friday, February 28th. The price drop will also be in effect for the Titanfall Xbox One bundle which will be priced at £369.97. "It's about giving gamers in the UK the best possible value that we can. We feel the time is right now to do this because Titanfall is coming out. It's the game that most gamers are looking forward to playing, and we think that this is a great time to offer this new price point moving forwards, and include the game while stocks last," stated UK Marketing Director Harvey Eagle. Dong Nguyen, the creator behind the surprisingly successful mobile game Flappy Bird has officially taken the game down and it is no longer available for download. Nguyen claims that the success of Flappy Bird has "ruined" his once "simple life". In a series of Tweets, Nguyen says "I am sorry 'Flappy Bird' users, 22 hours from now, I will take 'Flappy Bird' down. I cannot take this anymore.", followed by "I can call 'Flappy Bird' is a success of mine. But it also ruins my simple life. So now I hate it.". Flappy Bird has been pulled out of the Apple store and Google Play, however if you already downloaded the game, you can still play it. According to IGN, Nguyen receives around $50,000 a day in ad revenue. Nguyen claims he will keep developing games despite how horrible he has it after the success of Flappy Bird. A person claiming to be a Microsoft insider has released details and the release dates for future Xbox One titles. Let's just say that the future looks very Halo-ey. Among the first of the series to be supposedly ousted is the Halo series. The alleged Microsoft insider is claiming that Halo 2 will see an anniversary release dubbed, Halo 2 Anniversary and will be releasing on November 11th. Halo 2 Anniversary will come in two editions; a collector's edition that contains access to the Halo 5 beta and access to a Halo TV series. The second edition; War Collection will come with access to the Halo 5 beta, access to a Halo TV series, and more interestingly Xbox One ports of Halo 3 and Halo 4. The insider is also claiming Crackdown 3 will see a distant future release on the Xbox One sometime in 2016.
