I should have been paying attention to this thread .. so I'll pretend to go back in time

Could some one do some Harry Potter fact checking for me please .. it's been a long time since I've read/watched any Potter related media.

Did Voldemort ever actually kill any of his followers? .. I know he killed lots of people, and he certainly threatened his followers (Death Knights??) .. but kill them .. not that I remember. However Vader had people around him dropping like flies in both the movies and extended universe. Show even the slightest insubordination or make a small mistake and Vader would kill you with out thinking twice.

So if I'm right about Voldemort not killing his people, this would make Vader MORE evil.

Voldemort killed Snape for Snapes wand, and he tortures Wormtail multiple times. I'm sure there are more counts of his evilness towards his own side but thats all i can remember

The Joker killed Robin. He also shot, paralyzed and then took pictures of Barbara Gordon, nude, saying "the wound was a nice new hole for him to play with". Then, he sent the pictures to her Father.

He also does it dressed to the nines, in purple and green. That's pretty effing evil.

Paralyzing and raping Barbra Gordon happened in an "Else World" story .. a huge nerd debate is whether or not that happened. Now the Joker planning on killing 3000 people because The Holiday Killer MIGHT be in the crowd (Long Halloween tpb) .. that's evil. But still nowhere near as badass as Darth Vader. Robin was a mercy kill .. like put down a sick dog.

And Chris .. Darth Varder cut off his own son's hand which is way more evil than Volemort did to that Wormy guy.

Voldemort tries ( and fails ) to kill one child. Vader ( as Anakin ) kills hundreds in the jedi temple. and as vader millions on Alderan.

Vader killed upon being ordered. He didn't come up with the idea of killing the kids and other in the temple. Vader also did not order the destruction of Alderan, nor was he "responsible" for it.

Vader is (but eventually overcame and is another story) the Emperor's tool. Voldemort never took orders. :)

I can't really credit Vader with that kill .. it was Tarken who ordered that.

He didn't rape her. There'd be nothing funny or witty about it. He had her immobilized and he had the pictures to torment her father with.

Just because it was outside of the canon, doesn't mean it isn't evil. Just his quotes alone, are brilliant and evil.

He didn't rape her? .. I'm going to have to track down another copy of that since mine is long gone.

Joker would have received zero satisfaction from raping a paralyzed person. Put an inner tube around her midsection and throw on some water wings, and he would have enjoyed riding her like a boat, into Gotham Harbor.

Joker has a flair for the dramatic. Everything is done with a purpose in mind, even if it's not obvious by the reader at the time. He could mess with the Commissioner's head more, if it was left ambiguous. Sure, Barbara could tell her dad nothing happened, but without Joker to say anything, and seeing those pictures... it'd always be in the back of his head, eating away at him.

There's no definitive answer, but that one is mine. That's how I read it and that's what happened for me in the story.
