Happy Birthday, Binkie! AKA Jarlan

Today was a wonderful day to be a Mage, and to make me seem less crazy. I woke up and decided it was time to play some Morrowind. After a couple hours and a few bowls of Cookie Crisp, I thought I'd play Oblivion. Both great games, both great stories. However, Morrowind had so much more to do than Oblivion. When I ask my neighbor which he prefers, he says Oblivion and laughs when I tell him I think Morrowind is better. So I decided I was going to make a list of the differences in both games. Morrowind: More Join able Factions (The Morag Tong, House Hlaalu, House Redoran, House Telvanni, East Empire Company, Tribunal Temple, and the Vampire Clans, Aundae Clan, Berne Clan,…

Going to break the rule of no Destructoid links on this forum, since they brought this touching story to light. Go there and read about Michael John Mamaril. http://www.destructoid.com/gearbox-to-honor-late-fan-as-an-npc-in-borderlands-2-215160.phtml Proud of both Gearbox and Destructoid for making this happen. Peace and well wishes to the family of Michael John Mamaril.

Type those words exactly into Google. Video says only Chrome but it also works in Firefox.

Anyoneelse watching this? Every year it gets better in my opinion, lots of good stuff. Command and conquer generals 2 using frostbite 2 engine. The new naughty dawg game look looks like could be promising.

The Transportation Security Administration made more than $400,000 in 2010 from all the coins, bills and foreign currency travelers left behind at airport checkpoints. Sometimes people forget the money and sometimes foreign travelers returning home simply feel they don’t need to take the U.S. change back with them, David Stempler, president of the Air Travelers Association, told USA Today. The TSA collected $409,085.56 in 2010; $376,480.39 in dollar coins, quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies as well as foreign currency worth $32,605.17, USA Today reported. It has emerged that Michigan State Police have been using a high-tech mobile forensics device that can extract information from over 3,000 models of mobile phone, potentially grabbing all media content from your iPhone in under two minutes. The CelleBrite UFED is a handheld device that Michigan officers have been using since August 2008 to copy information from mobile phones belonging to motorists stopped for minor traffic violations. The device can circumvent password restrictions and extract existing, hidden, and deleted phone data, including call history, text messages, contacts, images, and geotags. In short, it can copy everything on your smartphone in a matter of mi…

America welcomes a new brand of smart street lightning systems: energy-efficient, long-lasting, complete with LED screens to show ads. They can also spy on citizens in a way George Orwell would not have imagined in his worst nightmare. With a price tag of $3,000+ apiece, according to an ABC report, the street lights are now being rolled out in Detroit, Chicago and Pittsburgh, and may soon mushroom all across the country. Part of the Intellistreets systems made by the company Illuminating Concepts, they have a number of “homeland security applications” attached. Each has a microprocessor “essentially similar to an iPhone,” capable of wireless communication. Each can captu…

It recently came to my attention that Sony recently shut down Psygnosis studios (which was currently known as Sony Liverpool). This REALLY gives me a huge case of teh sads. So many games from my past (many of which a bunch of you young-ins have probably never even heard of) came out of this place. They had been making games for almost thirty years now. They were also responsible for creating one of the HARDEST games I've ever played. Shadow of the Beast. More specifically the NA Genesis version. (due to some sort of issues with the normal refresh rates of televisions between Europe and NA, the NA version ran almost 17% FASTER than normal. Combine that with NO cont…
