  3. Creators of the upcoming Kinect only spin on the Fable series, Fable: The Journey, are saying that fans are being unfair and that they really need to just give it a chance. Former Microsoft employee and Fable Designer Peter Molyneux said in a recent press conference that he wants gamers to know that they will not be “leaping” through the air. “From the blogs and the posts that I’ve seen, there’s a lot of skepticism out there. People think that they’re going to be leaping around the room or they’re going to have to shout at the top of their voice and feel embarrassed. We don’t want that – we want you to feel relaxed.” Molyneux isn’t the only one that was on the Fable te…

  5. It’s not very often that any of the writers here at Gamercide post about anything but gaming news. It’s also not everyday that we’re all this excited about something or someone. In this case, it’s Dillon Hodges. Musician, singer, and songwriter. I’ve wracked my brain trying to remember where I first came across “ “. I’m sure it was on his website, but I don’t recall what led me there. If it was social media, I’m glad. Social media (in this case Twitter), is how I came to learn all about the man and his wonderful music. We’ve shared a few lines of text with each other, and his beautiful fiancé even thanked me for helping spread the word. He’s a gracious man, and from wh…

  9. Microsoft has managed to secure another ”first” in the battle of the console peeing contest. Just announced at E3, Xbox 360 users will receive the downloadable content before the other guys for the out next year reboot, Tomb Raider. Seems kind of silly announcing DLC before the game releases, but I guess that “my stream last longers than yours” is the real battle here. Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the full article

A good eye caught this image that appeared briefly on the EA Store for their upcoming RPG hit series, Mass Effect 3. The image which was quickly removed is similar to the one that appeared on Xbox.com for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier that showed the same purple logo with the words, “Better With Kinect Sensor”. A Kinect enabled Ghost Recon makes sense, but Mass Effect 3? What do you think? via NeoGaf and Eurogamer Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the full article

  22. Duke Nukem Forever may have taken years to come out, but it did not take the poor reviews of the game long to come in. Critics have been outspoken with their disappointment of the game and many reviewers have been giving Duke an embarassing 5 or below. Firing back at those critics are Gearbox’s outspoken CEO Randy Pitchford and Duke himself. Well at least his voice actor anyway. “I have no comments regarding bad reviews by clueless critics. They seem to want to compare Duke Nukem Forever to Call Of Duty and other FPSs and they are missing the point. My thoughts about Duke Nukem Forever: It freakin ROCKS! Lots of action, lots of fun, sexy, funny, irreverent… It’s eve…
