  1. Sony confirmed on August 8th that Game Recording will be free regardless if you are subscribed to Playstation Plus or not. The recording feature will allow you to capture up to 15 minutes of game footage. On top of the capture feature you can share the game stream with a friend, and that friend can even take over and help you with the game. This is a step in the right direction, but this is a small step forward in contrast to a large step back. While you can record your game without Playstation Plus, you can't play multiplayer without a subscription. Click here to view the article

    Tom Clancy who lent his name to game series such as Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, and Splinter Cell and also co-founded Red Storm Entertainment has passed away in a hospital in Baltimore at the age of 66. Tom Clancy who was born in Baltimore, MD was best known for many of his military and crime fiction novels like The Sum of all Fears and The Hunt for Red October which was the first of his novels to be turned into a movie.     When Watch Dogs was delayed around the time GTA V released, many thought that Ubisoft was worried that their sales of Watch Dog would tank due to the popularity of the GTA series and also considering that Ubisoft created Watch Dogs in part to compete with games like GTA and Saint's Row. Announced late in the day on July 12, EA paid around $650 million in cash for the company and gave $100 million in shares to certain PopCap shareholders.
