http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,2845,2371219,00.asp?kc=ETRSS02129TX1K0000532 NASA Ames Director Simon "Pete" Worden announced that the organization has begun work on a joint project with DARPA to develop a "Hundred Year Starship" that could ferry humans to Mars—in one direction. Kind of hard to fathom we're getting to a point where this is a possibility and maybe even something that will happen in our lifetimes.

Found this on reddit... How is this even legal??

http://world.time.com/timelapse/ This is pretty damn interesting. 30 years of satellite images time lapsed to show how the world has changed. Click Explore the World and you can look at pretty much anywhere over the last 29 years.

Okay, this is officially my new favorite type of bird. Meet the Secretary Bird. A bird that doesn't give a damn. It has wings. It could use them. But why bother when it can just strut around stepping on things until they become food? Plus, it just looks awesome in a dorky way.

Sad. Ironic, but sad. The multi-millionaire owner of the Segway company died Sunday when he fell off a cliff while riding the famous motorized scooter, the Telegraph reports. Jimi Heselden, 62, died after skidding off a cliff at his estate in Yorkshire, England. He was reportedly testing a cross-country version of the upright, two-wheeled scooter when he plunged from the cliff. Heselden's body was later found in a river by a passerby, the newspaper reports. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/8027301/Segway-company-owner-dies-riding-two-wheeled-machine-off-cliff.html

So I need a production tag for those hot beats I put out. I have the phrase I want to use, but I need someone else to say it. Be warned, there is one extremely vulgar word in it. Any help would be appreciated.

It's ever a sad thing when someone loses their life in a senseless event that didn't need to happen. The teen under the influence also killed two of her passengers. At least his wife and child look like they'll survive.

Been sink since Friday night. Started feeling better enough today to pull out my laptop and see what I missed for the past few days.

I found the following article on IGN and thought, "I have OCD, let me read this article..." http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/07/26/gaming-with-obsessive-compulsive-disorder Having a minor case of OCD, I didn't expect I would relate much to the article, then it brought up a few points... Do you have to do everything in an RPG and if you don't it bugs you? Do you have to check the options menu a lot even though you changed no options? In RPGs, do you have to be the absolute pure good or pure evil character? (ex. Getting just one Renegade point in Mass Effect will bother you if going for Paragon My answers to the above... Yes, yes, and yes. I never realized I did this stu…

i'm on myspace right now

Cool little funny site i found, was gonna make a contest of this... it's perfect for it, but every time i tried to use it's send or grab function, it just wanted to send the app, not what you actually got it to say. which is kinda lame, but i guess i could see the mayhem it could cause.

Anyone here read web-comics? My hands down favorite is Ctrl-Alt-Del but I check up on Cyanide and Happiness occasionally. Here is a recent one that cracked me up: Linky.

http://gizmodo.com/5738824/the-armys-underground-nuclear-ice-village If you have a half hour to kill, there is a pretty cool video at the above link . The US Army built an underground base under the ice and snow in Greenland during the 1960's. Sadly, it was abandoned after a few years when it began to collapse in on itself, but the above video is one of those old Army propaganda movies detailing the construction and use of it. Pretty amazing stuff.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/02/02/9yearold-girl-gives-birth_n_446034.html Pretty disgusting if you ask me. Poor girl, can't even take care of herself, let alone a baby.

15 Windows updates? All published today? Seems like more than I get in an entire month or two....

... Is to stop PK from dominating the recent topics section.

I know we have LOTS of Dad's on this forum. So all to all of you

If you would like to view the classified documents, follow this linky to the UK's government website. For the story, linky. It's way to long to post. To sum it up, the UK has released a lot of classified UFO documents including things that the UN was in on, along with the UK miiitary, and police and some other interesting tib bits and facts. Whether or not you believe in UFO's is your opinion, but it's still an interesting read if you have the time
