Happy St Patrick's day all! Hope you have a great day today and have a great start to your weeks! Today has been pretty awesome for me personally so far. I went to a huge local benefit concert this past week that had 18 bands playing. Anyways, while I was standing at the bar there were these little flyers from our local rock music radio station about some contest they were having today and them playing a song between 10 and 10:30. I remember glancing at it briefly and didn't pay much attention considering I'd be at work and we don't really listen to that station here (inappropriate lol). Long story short, I pretty much forgot about it. This morning had to go …

Happy birthday to you both. Don't usually see you around here, but birthday wishes to you both nonetheless!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Thanks especially to all those who have served and are serving in our military. Everything isn't going as well in this lovely country of ours as we may wish, but all we can do is stand up together to make it as it should be. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend with family and friends.

So is this the test run of Gamestops used game program? Seems a bit excessive, I would not be trading in games if they wanted to finger print me. http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2014/08/01/new-philadelphia-gamestop-policy-requires-customer-fingerprints-when-trading-in-games/ and I know they wont go to this just interesting what some stores will do.

This is a pretty neat little video that Microsoft made explaining Quantum Computing. Glad to see it's being spearheaded by large companies. Will change the computing world by leaps and bounds when it hits mainstream. TechSpot Article

Here is the last major speech that I did for my speech class, on Wednesday. The topic is Peace Through Violence, how learning violent martial arts like Shou Shu can bring you greater discipline in your behavior. I got a bit nervous in the beginning and had a couple brief pauses to catch my thoughts, but considering that I had memorized the entire speech to perform without my notes (again; despite the teacher's urging that we do the speech extemporaneously from notes), I think I did quite well. Also, here is another demonstration of the aggressive vs. joint lock variation of a technique that I show in the speech:

Here's a long, but good article on GPUs from Techspot. http://www.techspot.com/article/650-history-of-the-gpu/ The evolution of the modern graphics processor begins with the introduction of the first 3D add-in cards in 1995, followed by the widespread adoption of the 32-bit operating systems and the affordable personal computer. The graphics industry that existed before that largely consisted of a more prosaic 2D, non-PC architecture, with graphics boards better known by their chip’s alphanumeric naming conventions and their huge price tags. 3D gaming and virtualization PC graphics eventually coalesced from sources as diverse as arcade and console gaming, military…

I've found a bunch of ClapTrap Audio files on the web, and would like to share them with you guys. They make a perfect ring tone, I'm currently using the one where Claptrap goes "I'm Dancin, I'm Dancin!!" I uploaded them to Mediafire, so they're separate files. Just download the ones you want, or all of them if you feel like it. Ok, I'll name them. That way it will be easier for you guys to pick which one you want to download: "Haha!!" Click Here "Hey there, stranger!" Click Here "Did you know?" Click Here "I'm over here!" Click Here "Annnnnnnnd open!" Click Here "Oww!" Click Here "Wait...Is that? Oh no! Not again, ruuuuuun!!"
