Major Nelson has just confirmed that gamers have another reason to be thankful this coming November. Epic is releasing the first DLC pack for their locust shoot em up Gears of War 3, on November 1st. The Horde Command Pack will feature three new maps, three new characters including Big Rig Dizzy, Onyx Guard, and Bernie, two new weapons skins, and new fortification upgrades for both popular game modes, Horde and Beast. Epic Games has announced that Gear of War 3 will support 3D and as a result the highly anticipated shooter has to run at a lower resolution but insists that the graphics difference is not a big deal. “It’s a little bit jaggier in certain areas. Instead of 720p you’re at five something,” said Executive Gears Producer Rob Fergusson. According to Ubisoft both Driver: San Fransico and for the second time the highly anticipated Ghost Recon: Future Soldier are being delayed. Ubisoft has revealed that Ghost Recon Online is receiving a crossover with Splinter Cell and that it is available today. Players will get to use the weapons and gear that Sam Fisher utilizes in Splinter Cell allowing the players to fully customize their character across all of classes. A new map, Khyber Stronghold is also releasing with the crossover. Ubisoft stated that middle eastern map is "the most ambitious map" that they have ever made. Joystiq claims that they discovered that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier may be Kinect enabled. Joystiq is claiming that an image appeared late lastnight on Xbox.com that showed the cover of the game sporting a "Better With Kinect Sensor" purple logo. That image has since been taken down and replaced with regular looking cover art. If you pay attention to the differences in both covers you will see that Ubisoft logo has also been moved and both versions of the cover are extremely different. What do you think Ghost Recon fans? Releasing later this spring, Girl Fight is well as the title implies girls fighting and will feature long legs, flying hair, and sexy vixen-esqe fighters.
