  1. Blizzard has announced that players of their massive time consuming and ever so popular PC game, World of Warcraft will receive the upcoming Diablo 3 free. Of course there is a teeny tiny catch. In order to get Diablo 3 for free you must purchase their new annual pass and adhere to a few other minor commitments to Blizzard. The World of Warcraft annual pass can be paid in monthly installements just like a month to month subscription however where it differs is that you get Diablo 3 for free, the in game mount Tyrael’s Charger, and guaranteed access into World of Warcraft expansion beta. If you are jumping for joy right about now, slow down there. You must have an acco…

Developed by: Iridium Studios Platforms: PC and Xbox LIVE indie games Players: 1 Puzzle Quest proved that adding RPG elements to a tried and true game design like a match three puzzle can turn a game into absolute crack. But what happens when you add RPG elements to a rhythm game? Sequence is a bit of an odd mix. It’s a rhythm game with RPG elements such as item drops, equipment and leveling, but it requires just as much skill progression on the player’s end as it does for developing your character’s level. In the game you must fight a series of monsters and a boss on each of the seven floors of a tower, with your ultimate goal being to reach the top and escape. Thre…

It is Halloween and we here at Gamercide are celebrating by sharing with you our top favorite scary games that we played since we could hold a controller in our tiny little bitty baby hands. Let the fright fest begin! spawn622 – Gamercide Writer/Reviewer and Gnome Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem “The overall story of the game doesn’t really scare all that much, but having to always keep a check on your “Sanity Meter” really does bring a sense of dread to the game. Once it gets low enough camera angles will change, the volume of the game goes up and down, and other random things start to happen that really do screw with your mind. Ghosts and demon …

While the three in the title might lead some to believe this is the third game in the Bejeweled series, it is actually the fifth and the only direct sequel to Bejeweled 2.This fantasy themed variation on the same is a far cry from the original Bejeweled released ten years ago with only two modes of play. Bejeweled 3 provides players with 8 modes of play and 8 types of gems to swap. Bejeweled 3 brings back 4 traditional modes of play, as seen in Bejeweled 2, and adds 4 new modes. Returning on the platform are Classic mode, Zen mode, Lightning mode, and Quest mode. Classic mode is the basic Bejeweled game at its core. Players continuously swap gems until there are no more …

  11. RedLynx, the creators behind the ever so popular and madly addiciting arcade game Trials may have been aquired by Ubisoft this morning, however that is not stopping them from working on their continued relationship with Microsoft to get the next bone breaking Trials game out the door. However fans who have been waiting for an announcement on a release date for the next game in the must have series, Trials Evolution, might have to wait a bit longer, because it appears that Trials has fallen under the “when it’s done” trap. RedLynx’s Jason Bates announced shortly after the aquisition went public that the game will release whenever it is completed and that Ubisoft is respec…

  12. In a surprising and not so scandalous news flash, Sony’s Playstation 3 sales are finally catching up to Microsoft’s sales of the Xbox 360. Sony released their financial reports for the Q2 fiscal year and show that the Playstation has moved 55.5 million units worldwide, just about catching and placing them in position to be on the verge of passing their rival console, the Xbox 360 which has moved 56.7 million units worldwide. It is nice to see something good coming out of Sony’s camp instead of the usual hackfest that it seems has been haunting the brand since the beginning of the year. via MCV Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the full article

I love insanely difficult games, however this is one I will not touch out of respect for my controller to ensure that it stays in one piece. If you have yet to try it, because you are debating on whether or not to torture yourself through grueling gameplay, then you will be happy to know that Namco has ensured that just about every gamer gets to play Dark Souls by making sure to ship 1.5 million units worldwide. So wait on my fellow gamers. Out of the those 1.5 million worldwide units, those of us here in the United States have received t…

Finally the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto V has arrived. Fans of GTA: San Andreas will be excited to hear that the fifth numbered installment of the series is returning to Los Santos. It is unclear whether San Fierro and Las Venturas are in the game as well, but some of the countryside appears to be there, with mountains to climb and do crazy things off of. If you look closely you can spot several things added since GTA IV: Sea-doos, semi trucks with trailers, blimps, and even airplanes and fighter jets. That’s right, airplanes appear to be returning. Fans will still undoubtedly have many questions such as: whether the planes will be flyable, how much of the San…

  21. Thank you captain obvious! I am talking about the heads over at EA who have confirmed that there will be a Battlefield 4. EA’s Frank Gibeau made the stunning and shocking announcement during an appearance at the University of California. “There is going to be a Battlefield 4.” Phew. Now that has been announced I can go back to playing Call of Duty Black Ops which you just can’t manage to pass. Ouch stings, doesn’t it? via Eurogamer Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the full article

EA is started off the week the right way, by banning hundreds of cheaters, glitchers, and exploiters in Battlefield 3. “This week we’ve banned hundreds of offending accounts and have stats-wiped accounts for exploiting (such as boosting)… (2 of More)“, tweeted EA over Twitter. “We are working on banning as many people as we can as quickly as we can. 25. Mario, a character that has been around since 1981′s classic Donkey Kong and not to mention the face of Nintendo, has fallen under attack from one of the mosted hated groups ever comprised of people who need a mental examination, PETA. Instead of concentrating their efforts on animal poachers or saving the rain forest, PETA has decided that Mario is a fur hating, animal killer all because of the popular Tanooki suit that resembles a tan raccoon. PETA has even launched a Mario Kills Tanooki website that depicts the fan favorite character taking a real like Tanuki raccoon dog, holding it’s decapitated head, and dancing in it’s blood while the head is some how crying despit…
