If you’re anything like me, Borderlands 2 is at the top of your most anticipated game list. And now, Gearbox is letting us in on some of the new things we will be seeing in the second game. There are going to be some new classes in 2, and they will be taking notes from the previous classes skill trees. They detailed one of those classes, the dual-wielding Gunzerker. The primary action skill for the Gunzerker will be, surprise! dual-wielding. But the three skill trees will be able to modify that ability. There will be the Rampage tree, which will accent the ‘berserker’ part of the character. This will help the dual-wielding to become more destructive. There is a skill in t…

Developed by: Neocore Published by: Paradox Interactive Players: 1 Platforms: PC King Arthur: Fallen Champions, the latest addition to the King Arthur strategy roleplaying franchise by Neocore fills the gap between King Arthur I and II. It is, however, very accessible to new players as well. One might assume from the name that this is a strategy based in reality, but this is not so. Along the journey, players will come across many fantasy elements as well. Set in a fictional land in ancient Britannia, players will fight knights, twilight creatures, tribals, and other fantasy creatures The game follows the stories of three heroes on their respective paths. 7. Zen Studios has had a steady stream of new tables for their really great pinball simulator Pinball FX2. As all my other table reviews has shown, even someone who isn't a huge fan of pinball and have a blast with these tables. Will Sorcerer's Apprentice keep this trend rolling? Here's the rundown of the table's story. Jake and Amanda come face to face with an Evil Sorcerer in his citadel. The kids have no choice other than to fight the Sorcerer and his summoned creatures by using their pinball prowess and a specter named Whisper. A fairly simple premise but once you get down to the pinball, things get really interesting. The table has a ton of rail chutes and ramps that ar…

Fatal Frame fans were disheartened to learn that the latest iteration in the survival horror series, Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, would not receive an English translation/release from Nintendo due to poor sales in Japan. This is a shame, as the Wii controls seemed PERFECT for the unique "point and shooting" that the series is famous for. However, that hasn't stopped fans with plenty of time to work around the translation issue. One particular group has actually managed to develop a patch that replaces all on-screen Japanese script with English script, as well as providing English subtitles for the spoken dialogue (and for those of you who hate to "read movies," there's r…

Say this phrase out loud please, "the ultimate fighting weapon". Did you say it? If so, you can now be sued by the UFC! Ubisoft is feeling the wrath of the UFC's parent company, Zuffa who feels that Ubisoft's fighting game for the Kinect, "Fighter's Uncaged" is "false association with the UFC and "deliberate" confusion in the mind of the consumer..." and is also tarnishing the UFC brand and causing them to lose money. So what did Ubisoft do that peeved off Zuffa? If you guessed used that phrase in their game that I asked you to say earlier, then you are correct. Fighter's Uncaged asks gamers to become "the ultimate fighting weapon". Apparently in Zuffa's mind, the UF…

Gamers have succeded where scientists have failed. It’s been over a decade since scientists have set out to break down a protein called protease that allows AIDS to multiply. Three weeks ago scientists reached out to the University of Washington’s program “Foldit” which takes science figures and turns them into competitive games. “People have spatial reasoning skills, something computers are not yet good at. Games provide a framework for bringing together the strengths of computers and humans. The results in this week’s paper show that gaming, science, and computation can be combined to make advances that were not possible before.” Seth Cooper, Co-Creator of “Foldi…

The Game Gear games are Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble which happens to be a favorite of mine and Shinobi. Both have received an “E” for “everyone” rating. For those of you that are not up on your handheld knowledge, the Sega Game Gear was Sega’s take on the handheld craze that released here in the states in 1991. Sega officially dropped support of their handheld in 1997 after an unsuccessful shelf life in Japan and issues with the handheld’s battery life became more prominent. The original model would only last for about 4 hours. Seg…
