Ubisoft Annecy’s multiplayer game director Damien Kieken confirmed the news that there will be no multiplayer beta for Assassin’s Creed 3 claiming that Ubisoft would rather spend time perfecting the game, then putting out a time consuming beta. “To be honest, it’s something we want to do every year because we get community feedback that helps us tune the game. It is also a good reward for the community that has followed us from the beginning. But doing a beta takes a lot of time; we’d need to polish a version, submit it to the platform holders and support it when it’s out. And all the time put into the beta doesn’t go into the final game. Because we wanted to push so many…

On the Batman Arkham Facebook page, a mysterious message appeared hinting at a big announcement coming on 12/31/2013. Could it be a new next-gen Batman Arkham game or perhaps DLC for Batman Arkham: Origins? Warner Bros. has previously announced that narrative driven DLC was to be expected sometime in 2014 for Batman Arkham: Origins, but they did not give an exact time frame for when gamers could expect it. There is also the chance that the announcement could be a next-gen Batman Arkham game considering that owners of the next-gen consoles with the exception of the Wii U, do not have a Batman: Arkham game to play. What do you think? Game or DLC? via Batman Arkham Facebo…

While Assassins-in-Training maybe mourning the lack of achievements/trophies in the Battle of Forli DLC (out Jan. 28), the trailer highlights some of the story potential that the Memory Segment 12 offers. And while this might not be "Episodes of Renaissance" like GTAIV's DLC, the potential for such expansive DLC is there. Via Kotaku Click here to view the article
