  1. Much-asked for Features Added, Devs Release Gameplay Trailer for Magicka: The Stars are Left In anticipation of Magicka’s upcoming Lovecraft-inspired campaign, Magicka: The Stars are Left, the Great Old Ones today announced that the popular co-op action/adventure game has recieved a huge tech overhaul for the game engine itself and game balance improvements. Any players who have purchased Magicka will receive, at no charge, this much-asked for update, which adds the ability to resume game progress from check points instead of starting over at the beginning of a chapter, incorporates the ability to revisit previously completed chapters, and, for the soloists, adds a fairy …

The folks at the Humble Bundle are at it again. This time around you can get all of Introversion's games, including such games as Darwinia and DEFCON, as well as Crayon Physics (awesome) and Aquaria if you pay over the average (about $3 right now). I already have every single one of the games, but I'll still get it because two Introversion tech demos are included, one about generating cities, and another about destroying voxel-based buildings. http://www.humblebundle.com/

I did a quick search and didn't see any BF3 threads in the PC section, so I was wondering if anyone out there plays (on the PC, obviously). Looking for some squadmates because random pubs are getting stale...

The folks behind the Humble Bundles never cease to be awesome. The trailer alone is absolutely hilarious (Skyrim jokes!). There are quite a few good games in this pack, too. 7 in total. Go get it!

The numbers from BTest - that Borderlands stat-tracking experiment we ran to help us improve our games -- are in. They're quite enlightening. For example, some of you had clearly a hard time making up your mind, as character color was changed over 96,000 times. What else? More than 137 million lootables opened, over 54 million weapons picked up, and just over 104 billion experience points earned - all between September 9 and October 31, 2011. Fascinating! But encouraging as those snippets are, it's not enough. As scientists, we want to know more. We need to know more. That's why we're kicking this puppy into second gear with BTest2. It's available now. BTest2 takes everyt…

Anyone else planning on getting this or currently in the early release? Wouldnt mind getting as many people on one realm as possible to get some raiding going in down the road. If you have it or are planning on it, im currently playing Sith on Mandalore the Indomitable (Xannadria)

So, anyone buy anything yet? I picked up Metro 2033, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and Gmod for about 12 bucks total. Now that I have a gaming computer, I can only see this getting worse.

  16. Do you like the idea of Skyrim mods, but are still a little intimated by the idea of finding and installing them? When Bethesda launches the Skyrim Creation Kit in January, which will give everyone access to the development tools used to make The Elder Scrolls V, the current plan is to integrate the mods produced by the community into Steam Workshop. What does that mean? Mods will then be listed on Steam and will be searchable, rateable and easily installed. As the Bethesda blog describes: "The Creation Kit will bundle your mod and upload it to the Workshop, where everyone can browse, rate, and flag mods for download. You'll be able to do this from any web device, includi…

Wondering if anyone knew of a good mod to spawn NPC's. I want to find something quick and easy so I can set up massive battles. Against other NPC's. I know quite a few of you play this.

Saw this just came out on Steam for those who are interested. http://store.steampo....com/app/92303/ For those who don't know our friends from Hyperduck Soundworks, they wrote the music for the game.

First I've heard of this, but it is pretty neat. Basically allows you to instantly play a PC game demo in your browser. Very similar to OnLive, but I don't see any option to play or purchase full games on it. http://www.gaikai.com
