Major Winter Storm to Impact Area Monday through Wednesday<br><br>

<p>An extended period of wintry weather is expected from Monday through Wednesday. A mixture of snow, sleet, and freezing rain will occur on Monday and Tuesday, then change over to all snow over the entire area by Wednesday as colder air filters into the region. Snowfall accumulations of 12 inches or more are possible Tuesday through Wednesday north of a Rushville, to Springfield, to Danville line, with ice accumulations of one quarter to one half inch possible between a Rushville, to Springfield, to Danville line and I-70. Since the system is still a couple of days away, the track of the system could change; resulting in major changes to expected precipitation type and amounts.</p>

<p>A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Tuesday through Wednesday for the entire county warning area.</p>

LOL, now we are in a Blizzard Warning and are expected to get 12-18 inches... with snow falling 1 to 3 inches per hour.

If class is not canceled tomorrow, my drive is going to suck... lol

All schools are closed here today in upstate NY. We got 6" overnight alone and it looks like a blizzard outside right now. Forecast is calling for at least another foot of snow.

being in the insurance business is going to suuuuuck today. I'm going to have to take so many claims from idiots getting in accidents on the road. LoL

We're supposed to get hit pretty badly in PA too, classes might be canceled or delayed here for the first time in over a decade.

ice storm here in ohio. power is going out everywhere. i'm still good though. flashing back to a couple years back, no power for a week. sucked.

31 degrees here at 8:30 in the morning. No snow though...

That is unusually chilly. Especially that late in the morning. We must be catching some of the ragged edges of that storm.

14" of snow in our street, several neighbors have tried to leave, none have succeeded. Until the plows come (whenever that will be) I'm stuck.
