Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland, Ohio . "To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more: 1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good. 2. When in doubt, just take the next small step. 3. Life is too short – enjoy it. 4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will. 5. Pay off your credit cards every month. 6. You don't have to win every argument. Stay true to yourself. 7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone. 8. It's OK to get angry…

  3. You know who I'm talking about. This guy. Well, turns out he's a lawyer now. LoL According to Cinematical and Geekologie: After three friends uploaded the infamous clip, which features Raza flailing about with a metal pole doing his most awkward Darth Maul impersonation, the Canadian teen became depressed, dropped out of school and wound up in a children's psychiatric hospital. Raza and his family eventually took the parents of the kids who uploaded the videos to court and sued them for the harassment Ghyslain has endured since the clip debuted, and they eventually earned a settlement. It seems like the story would end there, but website Motherboard brings us an …

  4. http://www.mediadump.com/hosted-id176-actors-in-character-now-that-is-acting.html I really enjoyed this article. Lots of recognizable actors/actresses making faces based off a description of a scene they're presented with. Lawrence Fishburne FTW. LoL

  7. This. Is. Awesome! From Wired.com: A U.S. security firm that claimed to have uncovered the real identity of Anonymous members responsible for a recent spate of web site attacks became a victim of Anonymous itself, when members of the online vigilante group breached the company’s network and stole more than 60,000 internal e-mails. The group posted the e-mail spool Sunday on the Pirate Bay torrent site for anyone to download and sift through. HBGary Federal, which does classified work for the U.S. federal government among other security work, claimed it had been working with the FBI to unmask hackers behind recent denial-of-service attacks against PayPal, Visa, MasterC…

  8. http://cnnphotos.blogs.cnn.com/2012/05/11/one-deep-breath-pushing-the-limits-of-freediving/?hpt=hp_c1 I was reading a story/picture gallery about this freediving competition. Looks pretty intense. One dude even passed out underwater and started spitting up blood and stuff. Well I looked into freediving a bit more and records for holding your breath. Some Brazilian guy, Ricardo Bahia, holds the guinness record at 20 minutes 21 seconds underwater. WHAT THE HELL. I can hold my breath for like 2-3 minutes, tops.

  12. ROFL! Some peole just don't learn do they? http://www.wtov9.com/news/24685101/detail.html NEW MARTINSVILLE, W.Va. -- An Ohio Valley man whose spray-painted mugshot was circulated worldwide has been arrested again on accusations of huffing. Wetzel County sheriff's deputies arrested Patrick Tribett -- again with gold spray paint on his face -- Wednesday night. Police said they received a call about a man acting suspiciously at the Hydro-Drive Ball Field in New Martinsville. Tribett was arrested on one charge of inhaling a chemical and was taken to the Northern Regional Jail. Officials said they don't know why Tribett, who is from Wheeling, was in New Martinsville. Full one month trial to gamefly instead of the usual 14 days..... great service to try out, been using it eversince 2006 and get to play any two games i want for about 25 bucks a month. Instead of buying one game every three months i use gamefly to play whatever i want, and get to play many more games than i would be able to otherwise. I'm not trying to give you guys some kind of infomercial or something, so if you like click the link for a free month to try it out, if you dont like it just discontinue the service. Most of ya probably already use this, but i figured i'd give ya'll a headsup anyway. here's the link

  18. I just bought this Queen bed at my local Costco for $399 (with instant rebate at checkout). This bed Is awesome! Anyone needing a bed that's priced right should look into this. We picked it up in a Lexus 4 door. You read that right. It comes wrapped in a box with wheels and a handle. It was easy to take up the stairs and set up! I know this is kind of a random post but with all the terrible beds out there priced higher than this one I thought I'd share my find with you guys! 19. What did he do to honor the memory of his feline friend? The cat was named Orville (after Orville Wright), and the artist is an RC Helicopter enthusiast. So he did what any other crazy "artist" would do. He taxidermied up his roadkill kitty, slapped a motor inside of him and drilled some propellers to his paws to make The Orvillecopter. And yes, it flies. Not very well, but it flies. http://tinyurl.com/7vflqkm

Twitter crashes hard, Internet freaks out If you haven't noticed yet, everyone's favorite microblog has temporarily crashed. The San Francisco based company posted a message on its blog around 9:30 a.m. that read "Users may be experiencing issues accessing Twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue." Declining to speculate on a possible reason for the outage. So, its anyone's guess as to when the issue may be resolved...

  24. Started by Nick,

This guy went to a bar...long story short, he met this broad and they went back to his place. Before they got undressed to do the horizontal mambo, he said, "Listen, I'm sorry but I don't think we should have sex right away". "Why's that?" she said. "Well you see, I'm hung like a baby, and I wouldn't want you to laugh and decide you didn't want to have sex with me. Why don't we get to know each other first, and then when we feel we're ready, we'll do it." So the girl agreed, but only because he was a good-looking dude and pretty nice. Several dates later, they make it back to his place again, and after some conversation, they decide it's time. She undresses and slides int…
