Acclaimed Sci-Fi author, Ray Bradbury, died at the ripe old age of 91 this morning in LA. Tis sad, he was one of my favorite sci-fi authors.

  2. I found the following article on IGN and thought, "I have OCD, let me read this article..." http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/07/26/gaming-with-obsessive-compulsive-disorder Having a minor case of OCD, I didn't expect I would relate much to the article, then it brought up a few points... Do you have to do everything in an RPG and if you don't it bugs you? Do you have to check the options menu a lot even though you changed no options? In RPGs, do you have to be the absolute pure good or pure evil character? (ex. Getting just one Renegade point in Mass Effect will bother you if going for Paragon My answers to the above... Yes, yes, and yes. I never realized I did this stu…

So I started a new job as a Truck Driver's Helper at a Dunkin' Donuts distribution warehouse. My shift is kind of weird. I have to be in at 2:30AM and the days are usually 12 to 15 hours. Lots of lifting and dragging two-wheelers full of boxes and milk crates into stores and all that. I worked yesterday and was so happy I finally had a day off since starting. I then got back home, accidentally fell asleep at like 7PM. Instead of sleeping in to a normal time, I woke up without an alarm at 3AM. Looks like this is as close as I'm going to get to sleeping in on days off. haha

What is Cards Against Humanity? Unlike most of the party games you've played before, Cards Against Humanity is as despicable and awkward as you and your friends. The game is simple. Each round, one player asks a question from a Black Card, and everyone else answers with their funniest White Card. Judging by the examples on the website this card game looks hllarious and fun. They even have free samples. Cards against humanity

  7. Bluffdale facility in Utah that's talked about in the video http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2012/03/ff_nsadatacenter/ Some may balk at watching this, but it's good stuff to know. They won't use this information to find illegal activity. They'll just secure it and use it whenever they need it. Take General Patreaus as an example. All they had to do was sift a little through his emails and they had what they needed to hurt him. Anything you've written on the internet is being copied and stored to be used against you at their discretion, if they ever need it. Link about the secret room at AT&T in SF that used a Narus STA 6400 and data-mined traffic through that …

A little bit of info about what went on during the giveaway. For starters, we didn't crash! Woohoo! Sorry about the formatting. I tried a dozen times to straighten it out, but it hates me. You can take a look at the CPU usage and Actual Memory below. The Cached Memory doesn't mean as much because of the active caching the site does to help performance, it stays about the same most times. However, you can see a spi9ke in cpu usage while the giveaway was going on. Doesn't seem like a lot, but it is for a web server. And obviously the spike in Memory Usage. PS Usage: CPU % Cach. 15. A Republican lawmaker in New York who has a record of voting against medical marijuana legalization has been arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. State police said that a suspicious odor was noticed in Assemblyman Steve Katz’s vehicle when they pulled him over for driving around 80 mph in a 75 mph zone at around 10 a.m. Thursday morning. “After noting the odor of marijuana, a New York State Trooper found Katz in possession of a small bag of marijuana,” a statement from state police said, according to the Times Union. Katz was given an appearance ticket for having less than 25 grams and is scheduled to appear in Coeymans Town Court on March 8. He also face…

  18. Ladies and gentleman, I'd like to introduce Ramona. She's only 9 weeks old, only weighs a couple pounds if that, is what they apparently call a "Silkchon" (Silky Terrier and Bichon mix), and she is already a complete terror (in a good way of course haha). Its so weird how she has like brown highlights in her hair (I enhanced it a little with Instagram for affect), but it's completely noticeable in the sunlight.

The pictures, worth the look Photographer Murad Osmann creatively documents his travels around the world with his girlfriend leading the way in his ongoing series known as Follow Me To. Chronicling his adventures on Instagram, the Russian photographer composes each shot in a similar fashion. We see each landscape from the photographer's point of view with his extended hand holding onto his girlfriend's in front of him. This is awesome.

  20. Wow. So a little while ago it was ruled that the government actually needs a warrant in order to physically place a GPS tracking device on your vehicle. Just recently however a judge released a 30 page decision saying that the government absolutely does not need a warrant to request, use, and track your location data generated by your cell phone (and presumably other electronic devices). Basically what it amounts to is unless you turn your cell phone completely OFF, the government is within their rights to track and use that data to their heart's content. Given the ubiquity and celebrity of geolocation technologies, an individual has no legitimate expectation of …

http://imgur.com/a/O6N99 The newest addition to the grand list of Coolest Things Ever is being unveiled in New York today: the Lego X-Wing, the largest Lego model ever built. The model of the classic Star Wars fighter being unveiled in Times Square has a wingspan of 44 feet and comes complete with R2-D2 and a full range of sound effects. It’s a super-duper-sized version ofStar Wars Lego starfighter set #9493 and was made with 5,335,200 Lego bricks. That, according to Lego, makes it the largest model ever built, eclipsing the Lego robot at the Mall of America by some 2 million bricks.
