The Transportation Security Administration made more than $400,000 in 2010 from all the coins, bills and foreign currency travelers left behind at airport checkpoints. Sometimes people forget the money and sometimes foreign travelers returning home simply feel they don’t need to take the U.S. change back with them, David Stempler, president of the Air Travelers Association, told USA Today. The TSA collected $409,085.56 in 2010; $376,480.39 in dollar coins, quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies as well as foreign currency worth $32,605.17, USA Today reported. 2. For those of you looking to purchase the first set of Mass Effect 2 detailed little miniatures, you will be waiting a bit longer. The first series of Mass Effect 2 look alikes that are being made by DC Direct were originally suppose to be delivered to stores in August 2010. That shipment was delayed and the figures were then given a new date of February 2011. Now it does not look like that is not going to be happening and Mass Effect 2 creator Bioware is not happy with how DC Direct is handling the situation and it appears that the second series of figures that DC Direct were also suppose to create has disappeared off of their website. “On the ME2 Action Figures it look…

“This is an action game in which players earn points for creating traffic pileups. From a top-down perspective, players initiate crashes by driving ‘cartoony’ vehicles (e.g., cars, trucks, vans, buses) into busy intersections; multiple crashes trigger score multipliers and rack up large ‘bills’ of property damage. Each level is accompanied by crashing sounds, small explosions, and vocal encouragement (e.g., ‘Cool,’ ‘Maximum Carnage!’). In some levels, players are instructed to crash into police cars (e.g., ‘Crash them before they bust you!’); in other sequences, oversized airplanes, tornados, lobster monsters, and UFOs slide across the screen, destroying any vehicles in t…

  8. This Fail of the Day is being brought to you by Konami. Last week, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow DLC Reverie found it’s way onto the PSN in North America to the surprise of fans considering that no release date was announced concerning the PS3 version of Reverie. Turns out Konami made an error and the content was never suppose to be released in North America which is why there is now a delay with the European version which should have hit their PSN on March 30. To make matters even more embarrassing, Konami cannot take it down. Producer David Cox stated over Twitter in response to an angry European gamer, “put up there in error and it’s too late to take it down. I symp…

Electronics giant subpoenas Google, Twitter, PayPal, more for information that can be used to identify console's jailbreak contributors. Last month, Sony unleashed its legal department on George Hotz and the fail0verflow group, better known as the hacking consortium which released security keys allowing people to run unauthorized software on their consoles. Thus far, that investigation has largely centered upon Hotz, who has been ordered by the court to forfeit his computers, hard drives, and other storage material to Sony's legal team in the interest of discovery. The PS3 remains an open platform…for now. Now, Sony is seeking to expand its search for incriminating inform…

Simply put, I would like to grab a copy of Portal for the PS3, simply for the Steam copy, then have a contest to give away the PS3 copy. My concern with this however is whether or not this will work. I do not own a PS3 and from the Google Searches I've done on the topic, it appears that you have to link your PSN account to your Steam account. I have a few unanswered questions that I am hoping some of you can help me with. Is it possible to create a PSN account without a PS3? If the above is possible, then what would the effect be if I link them together? Will I be able to play my copy on Steam on my PC without problem? Will the person who got the PS3 copy of the game b…
