The first set of DLC has been announced for Modern Warfare 3. Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling made the announcement on Call of Duty's Elite service premium side meaning that unless you paid up for Elite, you can't see the video. Elite subscribers on Xbox Live will be able to get their hands on the DLC January 24th. No date was given for Playstation 3 or PC users. The September 6th release of the last DLC on the Xbox 360, Collection 4: Final Assault will include new maps Gultch, Boardwalk, and Parish along with the release of De-Commision and Off Shore to non Elite members. On August 9th, you can get your hands on the Collection 3: Chaos pack which includes new Spec Ops missions and the Spec Ops mode Chaos which is based on chaining kills together to get the highest score possible. Announced on Tuesday from Ubisoft's camp is that the next DLC coming for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood will be absolutely free just like the last DLC, Animus Project Update 1.0 released on December 14. Animus Project Update 2.0 looks to be coming to a PS3 and Xbox 360 near you in January. Included in 2.0 is an addition to the multiplayer called, "Chest Capture". In Chest Capture, two teams of 3 players will be defending or capturing treasure chests. MotoGP 9/10 is set to race onto a tv set near you in March and already Capcom is announcing free DLC for the game. The first DLC pack will feature the 800cc bike class with bike, riders, team liveries, and the new tracks for the 2010 season which are Silverstone and Hungary. The second DLC pack will include the 600cc and 125cc bike, riders, and team livery updates. Capcom says that both DLC packs will be available shortly after the game releases in March and that they are both free to download. Activision had to pull the multiplayer map Favela out of the map rotation after the finding of a painted portrait that appears in a bathroom in the map offended some in the Muslim community. The offending portrait features a painted tree and the words "Allah is beautiful" and "He loves beauty" inscribed around the frame of the portrait which happens to be situated above a toilet. Activision released a statement apologizing for the image and said that they are working on an update to remove the wording from the map. We apologise to anyone who found this image offensive. Modern Warfare 2's training level "The Pit" has made the jump from your television screen to real life. A British television show, The Gadget Show, built a complete mock up of the level all the way down to the amount of targets, civilians, and distance it takes to get to each target area.
