Nintendo will unleashing a Flame Red 3DS bundle onto the Black Friday horde. The 3DS bundle comes with a Flame Red 3DS and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3D Land. The first set of DLC has been announced for Modern Warfare 3. Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling made the announcement on Call of Duty’s Elite service premium side meaning that unless you paid up for Elite, you can’t see the video. Elite subscribers on Xbox Live will be able to get their hands on the DLC January 24th. No date was given for Playstation 3 or PC users. Rockstar’s Dan Houser released a major spoiler regarding their upcoming spring 2013 release of GTA V. Out of the three main stories that you play through, one of them is the antagonist. Houser made the statement during an interview with The New York Times when asked about the three character story line. “Just at the conceptual level, the idea was three separate stories that you play in one game. he next bit was, let’s not have the stories intersect once or twice but have them completely interwoven. A trailer for yet another video game to movie transition, this time for Namco's Tekken, though judging from the presence of Jin Kazama and Eddy Gordo, it would probably be more appropriate to call it "Tekken 3", but that would have messed with general movie goer's heads too much. Capcom released details regarding their upcoming entry into the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil 6. The game will be set in 2013 and will have fan favorite with amazing hair Leon Kennedy traveling to a fictional town in China called, Lanshiang. The game on many people's minds at the moment is Gears of War 3, which will release tonight at 12AM to the general public. Epic's promising a solid and interesting campaign and is backing up the multiplayer with dedicated servers this time around. EA is at it again and this time the server shut down is angering gamers who had to purchase an online pass in order to use the multiplayer. MMA, EA Sports Active 2, The Saboteur, The Godfather II, and a few others that you can find at EA’s Service Updates, are all having their servers shut down on April 13th. EA cites that only 1% of their player base play these games and therefore are no longer needed. Just in time for the upcoming holidays, Sony has announced that they are adding new models to their Playstation 3 lineup. The new slimmer, much lighter versions of the Playstation 3 will come in three models; the 500 GB, 250 GB, and a 12 GB Flash Drive model. Sony has also confirmed their release dates of the new models. The 250 GB PS3 will release on September 25th and will cost $269. The 250 GB model comes with Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception Game of the Year Edition and bonus content for Dust 514. Make as many jokes as you want about this, but "Get Ready to Lick the Competition" says Microprose and Kung Fu Factory in a press release for their new arcade game titled, Girl Fight. Releasing later this spring, Girl Fight is well as the title implies girls fighting and will feature long legs, flying hair, and sexy vixen-esqe fighters. The female only fighters will be customizable with characters skins, abilities, and codex entries. Capcom has confirmed that The Devil May Cry HD collection that contains Devil May Cry 1, 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening will be releasing on April 3, 2012. Game Politics is reporting that video games sales saw a decent sales decrease of 20% during the month of July. This has been the eighth consecutive drop since November 2011. One console did manage to make a buck during the month of July. The Xbox 360 remained on top of the console market for the 19th consecutive month moving 230,000 units. Both Nintendo and Sony did not release figures for the month of July. Is this decrease in sales another sign of economic times taking a toll on the gaming industry or just the long summer video game drought that gamers face in the rather boring summer months?
