As you may or may not know, Dejobaan Games has been making quality games for over 75 years. They have released several PC games full of oddball humor and wackiness, held together by smooth gameplay. These include The Wonderful End of the World, AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, and their very recently released game, 1... 2... 3... Kick It! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby). The latter two compete for alphabetical superiority in my Steam library. 1... 2... 3... Kick It! was technically released as an alpha, which can be bought and will be supported and updated over time with the aid of user feedback, much like Minecraft. It's a music based game along the l…

One of the higher rated ones is the Razer Black Widow Ultimate: Amazon $112 Here is another option: http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/ . They sell a full arrangement of mechanical keyboard that are customizable. Plus they have detailed information on the different switches. No macro support, but they are all around great keyboards. I'll link to both songs so you can download them. We'll be using them for our broadcasts on Twitch.tv. Huge thanks go out to Dillon and his wife, Elise. Boo Gamerciders! It is Halloween and we here at Gamercide are celebrating by sharing with you our top favorite scary games that we played since we could hold a controller in our tiny little bitty baby hands. Let the fright fest begin! spawn622 - Gamercide Writer/Reviewer and Gnome Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem "The overall story of the game doesn't really scare all that much, but having to always keep a check on your "Sanity Meter" really does bring a sense of dread to the game. Once it gets low enough camera angles will change, the volume of the game goes up and down, and other random things start to happen that really do screw with your mind. Ghosts and demon fi…

Gamers have succeded where scientists have failed. It’s been over a decade since scientists have set out to break down a protein called protease that allows AIDS to multiply. Three weeks ago scientists reached out to the University of Washington’s program “Foldit” which takes science figures and turns them into competitive games. “People have spatial reasoning skills, something computers are not yet good at. Games provide a framework for bringing together the strengths of computers and humans. The results in this week’s paper show that gaming, science, and computation can be combined to make advances that were not possible before.” Seth Cooper, Co-Creator of “Foldi…

Three weeks ago scientists reached out to the University of Washington's program "Foldit" which takes science figures and turns them into competitive games. Have you grown tired of seeing all of those “x”‘s in your gamertag or maybe the word “Assassin” just isn’t cutting it anymore? Well my fellow Xbox 360 gamers you are in luck. From August 2 through August 8, the cost to change your gamertag will be temporarily discounted from 800 MS Points to 560 MS Points. Now that you are counting down the days until your new gamertag, just don’t go changing it to “xXSpartanAssassinBeNdOv3RXx”. via Major Nelson Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the full article

The growing list of expensive games that are being added to the XBLA are lacking creativity and not worth the amount of points that they are releasing for. Sure there are some downloadable worthy titles that will keep you busy for hours like Braid, Kingdom for Keflings, Limbo, and Shadow Complex, but what happens when you grow tired of repeatedly playing the same games over and over and want a new arcade game? You are faced with 1200 MS point buys that are not worth even a discounted price of 400 MS points. Here are a list of games that could revamp and save the XBLA from disappearing into the ugly dark hole that it is slowly digging for itself with out of control pri…

Gamescom 2012 decided to give gamers a heart attack everywhere when it posted Half Life 3 as a game that was supposed to be announced at the venue. Organizers of the show have spoken directly to Eurogamer and said that it was a “mistake”. Also on that list of games that included another “mistake” was Dragon Age 3. Eurogamer did ask three times why both of the games were mentioned and are now a “mistake”, however the people behind Gamescom did not give an answer. Was it really a mistake on the part of an employee behind the scenes or was Half Life 3 suppose to be announced but Valve changed their plans? Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the full article
