Dong Nguyen, the creator behind the surprisingly successful mobile game Flappy Bird has officially taken the game down and it is no longer available for download. Nguyen claims that the success of Flappy Bird has "ruined" his once "simple life". In a series of Tweets, Nguyen says "I am sorry 'Flappy Bird' users, 22 hours from now, I will take 'Flappy Bird' down. I cannot take this anymore.", followed by "I can call 'Flappy Bird' is a success of mine. But it also ruins my simple life. So now I hate it.". A person claiming to be a Microsoft insider has released details and the release dates for future Xbox One titles. Let's just say that the future looks very Halo-ey. Among the first of the series to be supposedly ousted is the Halo series. The alleged Microsoft insider is claiming that Halo 2 will see an anniversary release dubbed, Halo 2 Anniversary and will be releasing on November 11th. In a move that secured the exclusivity of one of gaming's most successful franchises in past years, Epic Games has officially handed the reigns of Gears of War over to Microsoft. Microsoft bought the rights to everything involving Gears of War and also took Rod Ferguson who was the executive producer and director of production for the first three titles in the series which were arguably the most successful releases in the Gears of War franchise. DICE has released a statement regarding several problems with the Xbox One version of Battlefield 4 and admits that they are not "proud" of the issues that many are experiencing. DICE's studio manager Karl Magnus Troedsson released a statement telling Xbox One users that they are committed to fixing the ongoing problems. A Czech studio which is headed up by former Mafia series designer Daniel Vávra is trying to find a home for his open world, next-gen medieval RPG which he claims has no fantasy, just realistic interpretations of the historic time period. According to Eurogamer, Vávra had previously announced the idea for Kingdom Come: Deliverance which runs on CryEngine 3, a year ago with hopes of publishing the title on next-gen consoles and PC sometime in 2015. Lionhead Studios announced that Fable Anniversary; the HD remastered audio and graphic rendition of the original Fable that started it all has been given an official release date. Fable Anniversary will be available on the Xbox 360 for $39.99 beginning on February 4th, 2014 in North America, February 6th, 2014 in Asia, and February 7th, 2014 in Europe. Leaked documents have surfaced for a Fallout 4 voice acting casting call and also reveal that the game is set in Boston. The casting call project which is code-named "Institute" does not officially mention the name Fallout 4 in anyway, however one glance at these documents make it pretty obvious what they are referring to. Among things discussed in these leaked documents includes the Fallout staple quote; "War. The Guardian has released documents from Edward Snowden that show that UK and US spies are listening in on conversations and interactions going on popular games such as World of Warcraft and Second Life. The leaked documents also show that the NSA and GCHQ are listening to your private Xbox Live chats. DICE has released a single player and multiplayer patch for Battlefield 4 on the PS4 that fixes numerous problems that gamers have been plagued with since it's release. The patch fixes regular crashing issues and also crashing issues associated with changing weapons and maps and crashes occurring from resuming the single player campaign.
