One of the main competitors in the fighting game market, Dead or Alive, will be adding another sequel to its roster, Dead or Alive 5. To make the game’s presence known, a short demo featuring a fight between Ryu Hayabusa and an original DoA ninja character, Hayate. The gameplay demo seems to emphasize the use of counter-attacks to break the enemy’s concentration, and to utilize the surrounding environments, as was demonstrated by the exploding barrels and Ryu dangling off the edge of the skyscraper. via Game Informer and Gamingeverything Written By: Cru Hunter Tweet This Post Post to Facebook View the full article

  6. One of the highlights of Capcom's next generation zombie-killer (no, not RE5) was the ability to pick up just about anything in the Mall and use it as a weapon. Sometimes the results were incredibly lethal and effective, and sometimes they were just comedic, but the fact is that if you could pick it up, you could use it. So how could Dead Rising 2 possibly top that? While it was hinted at in the announcement trailer, Capcom has officially revealed the ability to take two seemingly unrelated weapons and combine them into super weapons, the result being a better way to kill zombies, and a faster way to earn PP (the experience point system of the game). Begin speculation …

The team at Access Games who are responsible for the 2010 release of the cheesey and quite possibly some of the worse graphics of the modern console era, Deadly Premonition, are looking for help. What kind of help do you ask? Unfortunately, they want to make another game and do not have the financial resources to do it. Swery, the Director at Access Games put out a public call for help on their website and states that "I promise I’ll make something good!" and "I’ll work real hard!" among other one liners that are just begging to be made fun of. If he is relying on those cries for help, Access Games might be waiting awhile before a publisher jumps on that "hit making" tr…
