It appears that BioWare has something up their sleeve. A countdown timer has appeared on BioWare's website earlier and it is counting down the days and minutes leading up to some kind of an announcement. Just what is the announcement? You can speculate that is has something to do with Mass Effect 2 considering that Shepard and Miranda Lawson are right above the timer and that when you click on the timer it takes you to BioWare's Mass Effect 2 page. However we all know that appearances can be deceiving, so your guess is about as good as mine. Click here to view the article

"We weren’t an independent studio making ‘our’ games anymore – we were making games to fill slots. Although we did all believe in them, they were more the products of committees and analysts. The culture we’d worked on for so long gradually eroded just enough so that it wasn’t ‘ours’ anymore", said the Creative Director with Bizarre Creations Martyn Chudley during an interview with Edge where regrets and the option to buy Bizarre back after Activision closed the 17 year studio in February 2011 were explained. During the interview Chudley details how it was making games for Activision and that they were just "fill slots". "I don’t think the atmosphere differed too much d…

Fusible did a tiny bit of detective work regarding Activision’s record breaking Call of Duty: Black Ops and discovered that not only was blackops2.com switched over recently to MarkMonitor which happens to be the privacy service that Activision is a client to, but also that in August Activision bought the domains blackops3.com, blackops4.com, blackops5.com, and blackops6.com making it appear that not only is Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is on the horizon but that there will be a total of 6 in the Black Ops series. This should not come as a surprise to anybody with the never ending supply of games that share the name Call of Duty, but Black Ops 6? Really Activision? via Fusib…

For those who think the internet consists most of trolls and hyperactive a-holes, we're glad to report that there is still hope for the online community. Roy Williams and his friends answered the online request of fellow gamer Jordan Verner for help in completing the Nintendo 64 classic The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time by providing a walkthrough of the game. Why not just snag one from Gamefaqs? Because Jordan Verner is blind. Roy and his friends recorded every single action, no matter how trivial, onto a document that would later be read aloud by Jordan's computer. With this document, Jordan was able to complete the entire game in November 2009. Sure, we all b…

Diablo 3 or "D3" as many fans are dubbing it is getting ready to launch tomorrow May 15th to an antsy PC crowd. Well anxious console gamers I hate to burst your bubble, but that was not entirely true and Blizzard has the perfect explanation. In an interview with Gamasutra, Blizzard's Jay Wilson said that they were kind of lying in order to gain more employees, but they still remain unsure a…

As ghouls, ghosts, and goblins are preparing for their adventures on everyone's favorite undead holiday Halloween, I am counting down my list for bone chilling games that terrified me so bad, I had to keep glancing over my shoulder everytime I heard the wind blow. Unfortunately he has been suffering from writer's block and has been unsuccessful in writing another novel. Alan and his wife, Alice travel to the small, but beautfiul town of Bright Falls to help him reopen his mind and …
