It appears that BioWare has something up their sleeve.

A countdown timer has appeared on BioWare's website earlier and it is counting down the days and minutes leading up to some kind of an announcement.

Just what is the announcement?  You can speculate that is has something to do with Mass Effect 2 considering that Shepard and Miranda Lawson are right above the timer and that when you click on the timer it takes you to BioWare's Mass Effect 2 page.  However we all know that appearances can be deceiving, so your guess is about as good as mine.
