So I caved yesterday and pre-ordered the game (official release is today, so I still got the pre-order goodies). I played the beta for a few months and really enjoyed it. The setting, the classless/level-less character progression, the fact that I actually have to THINK to complete a fair amount of quests, etc. Anyone else play the beta and have any thoughts on the game? I needed a new game since I'm getting pretty bored of Diablo on Hell mode.

Okay.. so I swore to myself I'd never join Facebook. There have been several reasons in my life why I've never felt the urge to join up but I finally broke down today and signed up. One of the overwhelming reasons was because of this little flash based game called Serf Wars. It's sorta like Farmville meets Warcraft. You have to build your kingdom, build up your troops and you can either ally with your friends or go to war against them. Heya guys. I realize I haven't been very active in the community, but I've been posting my maps for testing and opinion on Doomworld. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do that here, but I'd love some feedback if you would take some time to look at the maps. So I finally finished Borderlands 2 (which I'll still undoubtedly play more of later) and started up Torchlight II. It's pretty neat so far, though I haven't played much. I made an Engineer (tank with summons and some other tricks), but it was a tough choice between him, the Embermage (mage), and the Outlander (guns/ranged). Berserker looks dumb to me. One thing I do hate already, and hated in the first and with most games like this, is the lack of respeccing. It was absent entirely from the first game, and with so many skills with so many ranks to invest in, that's a real pain. Not sure why it is titled Borderlands 2 for this video since they really only talk about the 1st game's development and last minute shift in art style. Some of you may already know the whole story and have seen them talk about it before. They show what the game was originally going to look like and some gameplay. Fun to watch.
