I absolutely LOVE Regina Spektor. I have such a crush on her.

Also, this is my early morning relaxing music.

Love it. Does it speak to the fans who keep putting these bands in the top 40 all the time, or does it speak to the bands that think so little of us? lol

Sometimes I hate how radio shaped our music. I guess that's why I like musicians who buck tried and true trends and song structures. What I mean by radio shaping our music is that songs must be 3-3:30 minutes long and the beginning vocals have to be within the first 15 seconds. Then there's the top 40 structure of 'hook, 1st set of lyrics, chorus, 2nd set of lyrics, chorus, solo, brief 3rd set of lyrics and the repeat of chorus until song fades'. Not to mention all the popular three chord sequence.

Anyways, that video was great.

I remember PK posting a lot of The Cure years ago when I wasn't a huge fan, and now there songs speak volumes to me. Pictures of You hits me in the gut every time I hear it.
