Is this a mod or something Valve made? I know an updated version of the original Half-Life entitled Half-Life Source already exists. I've actually never played the original HL, just started at 2. I need to someday. Probably marathon the whole series again because they're so cool.

Yeah, its an HL2 mod, even though it releases soon, its not complete. It will only be the up to the chapter Lambda Core, which is roughly 3/4ths of the game. Also no multiplayer on release either, but I never even knew they were doing that too.
