Dog saves another dog's life

Featured Replies

What they dont know is that same dog gave the Heimlich to a chocking man, and dragged a drowning child to shore and gave him CPR.

But on a serious note, what an ***hole driver, hitting a dog and not stopping, and when the dog was hit did another car run over it?

i wouldn't either, not on a highway. can't count the number of articles i read of people dying that way. one was a child who had his mom stop to help a duck. simply not worth it.

I think it was just a really busy road with a stoplight because while the dog is pulling the other there are no cars. At least thats what i thought when i posted.

Nah, that was a freeway dude. I'm with MWB on this one. Plus, the second car that hit him just didn't have enough time to avoid it without causing a huge pileup on the freeway. Sucks, but I think it was unavoidable.

the kid, we'll refer to him as "duckboy d.o.a.", wasn't on that busy a road. wish i had some of these articles to link you. i can't convey the sense of waste they inspire.

That dog is amazing. And some people doubt the capabilities of animals huh.gif

LOL @ Dat...Nice vid! Dogs are amazing. I'm a cat person (I know), but I love all animals really. biggrin.gif

That was amazing. And even though that was a dickhole move by the driver, that's what you are supposed to do especially on a busy highway. In my state at least, it isn't lawful to swerve to avoid an animal because it's a risk to other drivers and this would be especially true on the highway where there is no place to stop without avoiding an accident. But this shouldn't be about the driver, it should be about the amazing feat by the rescue dog.

Pretty cool story. Dogs are awesome... Although, I'm not sure of the necessity of the newscasters repeat "and here's the dog again being hit" . lol, that's not really the story nor is it necessary now is it?

I was sitting there thinking the same thing! Seeing the dog get hit once was plenty thanks. lol

that was very touching pogre

porge is always touching you stealthy. i think he's catholic or something.
