While it looks cool, for me it would never work. There is an art to pouring a perfect glass of beer and it is quite important to the overall taste. Looking at the video, there is only about a half inch head on each glass. The ideal head should be one and a half inches. Call me an alcohol/beer snob if you want.

lol. Snob. I believe the major purpose is beer stands. Where it's cheap beer and people just want more of it. The faster they move the line the better.

While I completely agree with you, you're not ever going to get a perfect poured beer anyways at a ballgame where some 19 year old girl is getting your beer as fast as possible so she can get to the other 50 people behind you.

If the guy patents not only the device but the cups as well he'll be beyond rich.

This device is fine for what it is .. cheap beer fast .. and yes there is a time a place for that, but I'll gladly wait an extra 5-8 minutes for my Guinness. Also what Spawn said a lot of the flavor of beer resides in the aroma of the head, and the temperature of the beer. Whenever I try a new beer I always drink it at room temp from a pint glass so I can get my nose in there.
