The lovely and extremely wonderful bs angel (follow her on the Twitters!), has given us another Noble Six avatar helmet code. To win this one, you’ll need to use some MSPaint skills. Nothing too hard. Just put a Halo character into a ballet tutu. That’s it! Since I’ll be using a random number generator, you can even just post two images. One of a character, and another of a tutu. Just add in a plus (+) sign or something. Appropriate tutu Doing it wrong Contest ends Wednesday night. Post your entries into the contest thread, on our forums, here. Red Dead Redemption Developed by: Rockstar San Diego, Rockstar North Published by: Rockstar Games Players: 1 offline, 2-16 player online multiplayer Rated M (Mature) by the ESRB The Breakdown Rockstar is known for making massive, open, driving and shooting games. But what happens when they turn back the clock and make a game set in the early 1900s, when the West was still untamed, and the automobile had barely been invented? Was this bold move a good idea, or should Rockstar stick to making games set in the modern era? Find out in the rest of this review. View the full review

It seems like every new game I've played recently has had several game breaking bugs that happen to enough people that they should clearly have been caught during testing. These games for me include Super Meat Boy (can sometimes get duplicate bandages, resulting in the game no longer saving until you reload, which could make you lose entire chapters. Not that bad of a bug if you know to make sure the autosave logo is still popping up, though), Fallout New Vegas (I haven't even tried it yet from all of the horrible bugs I've heard of) and Fable 3 (Jasper the butler no longer talks, which takes away about 40% of the humor and prevents me from hearing any important informa…

So here's "my" Costume Quest review that Assassin asked me to do for WouldYouKindly. I put "my" in sarcastic quotation marks, because there were quite a few edits I was unaware of when it was suddenly published after I couldn't find Assassin last night to help me reupload the images and finish it. Someone who I won't name for certain reasons from WYK (not Assassin, he has problems with the guy too) made some serious edits to the review and suddenly released it (i.e. hijacked), but for the most part my review is in there if anyone wants to check it out. I think Siren's review here was pretty good, Assassin just wanted me to help him with one for WYK. http://www.wouldyouk.…

Some of you may remember back in May, some indie developers got together and put on a cool little pack of games for charity called the Humble Indie Bundle. Enticing you with a hilarious video, you could choose how much you wanted to pay for the bundle, and how you wanted your money distributed between developers and charities. It turned out very successful, and it seems they’re at it again, with even more great games. The best part is you can still choose what to pay. You could donate a pittance, or you could donate a sizeable amount for bonus Karma, or “feel-good points” if you’re not into that sort of thing. Check out the video after you hit the jump 20 pixels belo…

******. Really ******. Those are the words used by Team Meat’s Edmund McMillen to describe the now not so upcoming Super Meat Boy for Wiiware. “There is no way to avoid the fact that if we released a 40MB version of Super Meat Boy it would be a **** version of the game, It’s a lose lose situation, but the fact of the matter is if we release a ****** game, we will have to live with that for the rest of our careers and have to cop to the fact that it is a ****** game.” Team Meat also said that a retail version of Super Meat Boy for the Wii is probably not going to happen either. Sounds like you Wii owners are SOL. via IGN View the full article

The developer of fan favorite Rock Band has found a new home. Viacom sold Harmonix to Harmonix-SBE Holdings LLC on Thursday, December 23. What does this mean for gamers who own Harmonix’s Rock Band and Dance Central? Absolutely nothing at the moment. “We’re excited to be returning to our roots as an independent and privately owned studio. As for what it means for you, the DLC schedule marches on for Rock Band, we will continue our support of previously released titles and we’re hard at work on some unannounced projects that we think you’re going to be pumped about,” stated Harmonix. Viacom first announced that they were looking to sell Harmonix about a month ago which …
