Well, I decided I don't want to have to download my steam games every time I want to play them, and I like to have copies stored locally anyhow. So I started the process of downloading and then backing them up. Man I wish I would have done this one at a time and sooner. So far I have 55,233.2MB downloaded and I'm not even 1/2 way done. Gonna be a long process, but worth it.

This makes me sad. Capcom Mobile has released a game, called MaXplosion. It's a 100% blatant rip-off of the amazing XBLA title 'Splosion Man. I am a sad panda. What sucks even more is that Twisted Pixel pitched the game originally to Capcom and were turned down. Here's a twitter feed from Twisted Pixel: http://twitter.com/#!/mikehasnoluck/status/24945224337850369 https://twitter.com/...994771051220993

via Eurogamer Eurogamer is reporting that the Channel 4 News Team recently caught a glimpse of what appears to be an unannounced Halo 5 game along with an icon for Project Gotham Racing during a recent demonstration by Microsoft’s Jonathon Cluts of hidden Kinect technology. During the demo, Cluts is showing how he can change walls in a futuristic house. He passes by icons and chooses Grandma’s Room. Clearly on either side are icons for “Project Gotham Racing” and “Inside Halo 5″. This all could have been a marketing scheme cooked up by Microsoft or maybe there actually is a Halo Kinect title in the works. via Eurogamer View the full article

During a Madden NFL online third party transaction from a website not associated with Microsoft or EA, the not so funny prankster was able to gain the Berkeley teen’s XBL account information. The dumbass logged into the account and sent almost 100 messages out to students at Berkeley Heights threatening to bring a gun to school the following day and would be s…

Ninja Gaiden, one of the toughest games to ever grace a console is back and there’s a brutal trailer to prove it. At GDC, Tecmo revealed a teaser trailer that shows a bloody and yellow eyed Ryu, shoving a sword into presumably an enemy and then about to reveal himself when it cuts away to a screen that says, “Unmask E3 2011″. In a gaming world where first person shooters are dominating, Ryu cannot come soon enough. via Joystiq Tweet This Post(for the video, view the article) View the full article

News about the new under developement title exclusively for the Kinect, Rise of Nightmares has been rather quiet since Sega announced the horror game at the Tokyo Game Show in 2010. Sega can now thank the ESRB for not only letting the plot out of the bag, but also doing so in the “breast” describing way possible. According to the ESRB description of the game, Rise of Nightmare will can contain: “This is a horror-adventure game in which players assume the role of an American tourist who must rescue his wife from a deranged scientist. From a first-person perspective, players use brass knuckles, knives, hatchets, and chainsaws to kill zombie-like creatures and disfigured mo…

Simply put, I would like to grab a copy of Portal for the PS3, simply for the Steam copy, then have a contest to give away the PS3 copy. My concern with this however is whether or not this will work. I do not own a PS3 and from the Google Searches I've done on the topic, it appears that you have to link your PSN account to your Steam account. I have a few unanswered questions that I am hoping some of you can help me with. Is it possible to create a PSN account without a PS3? If the above is possible, then what would the effect be if I link them together? Will I be able to play my copy on Steam on my PC without problem? Will the person who got the PS3 copy of the game b…

Kameo: Elements of Power, a colorful launch title for the Xbox 360 in 2005 almost had a followup with Kameo 2, but Rare cancelled the game in 2009 before it got off the ground. Artwork has surfaced from the planned sequel that shows Kameo would have gotten a more “womanly” appearance had the game had lived to see a release. via Eurogamer Tweet This Post View the full article

“We weren’t an independent studio making ‘our’ games anymore – we were making games to fill slots. Although we did all believe in them, they were more the products of committees and analysts. The culture we’d worked on for so long gradually eroded just enough so that it wasn’t ‘ours’ anymore”, said the Creative Director with Bizarre Creations Martyn Chudley during an interview with Edge where regrets and the option to buy Bizarre back after Activision closed the 17 year studio in February 2011 were explained. During the interview Chudley details how it was making games for Activision and that they were just “fill slots”. ”I don’t think the atmosphere differed too much dur…

Developed by: Arrowhead Studios Published by: Paradox Interactive Platforms: PC Players: 1-4 You already know we here at Gamercide love Magicka. But does the new DLC stand up to the greatness and originality of the main game, or will it just leave you with nightmarish Vietnam flashbacks? Magicka: Vietnam is a fairly small DLC. It consists of two new Challenge maps, and adds nothing to adventure mode. However one of the challenge modes is structured similarly to adventure mode, with three screens you must make your way through to complete the level. The other mode is a new arena with just one small area to face waves of the new enemy types just like the other arena…
