Happy St Patrick's day all! Hope you have a great day today and have a great start to your weeks! Today has been pretty awesome for me personally so far. I went to a huge local benefit concert this past week that had 18 bands playing. Anyways, while I was standing at the bar there were these little flyers from our local rock music radio station about some contest they were having today and them playing a song between 10 and 10:30. I remember glancing at it briefly and didn't pay much attention considering I'd be at work and we don't really listen to that station here (inappropriate lol). Long story short, I pretty much forgot about it. This morning had to go …

Yesterday a hacker who goes by the name of “Predator” claimed that he hacked into the Xbox Live account of Stephen “Stepto” Toulouse who happens to be the head of the Xbox Live Enforcement Policy Team and said that he only wanted to help Microsoft. Toulouse who spoke to Joystiq regarding the incident is telling a far more disturbing story. “He got an old cell phone [number] of mine, and yeah, he called it occasionally”. Toulouse then played it for Joystiq who said that they could not print the expletive and derogatory filled message because it was not suitable. Toulouse later said, “I have a six minute one where he and his friend discuss all the different ways they’re go…

Astronomers have discovered the largest and oldest mass of water ever detected in the universe — a gigantic, 12-billion-year-old cloud harboring 140 trillion times more water than all of Earth's oceans combined. The cloud of water vapor surrounds a supermassive black hole called a quasar located 12 billion light-years from Earth. The discovery shows that water has been prevalent in the universe for nearly its entire existence, researchers said. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43859868/ns/technology_and_science-space/

A 29-year-old Louisiana man will spend the next 40 years of his life behind bars because he apparently really, really wanted some video games. Full story, click HERE.

http://feeds.wired.com/~r/wired/index/~3/t306LSERD-w/ A federal appeals court said Friday that software makers can use shrink-wrap and click-wrap licenses to forbid the transfer or resale of their wares, an apparent gutting of the so-called first-sale doctrine. Basically, if it's a license then they can forbid you from reselling it. Could really suck for the end users.

Wondercon 2011: http://www.comic-con.org/wc/ The Bonnie to my Clyde, the wonderfully talented Karen Krajenbrink is going back to Wondercon this year in San Francisco. Last year I had the awesome ability to go with her to this "little brother" of the larger San Diego Comic-Con. It was a blast. This year she's going to have a table again (look for the Small Press area, SP-17) and I'll be walking the floor, checking out the publishers both large and small, as well as sitting in on (hopefully) some very anticipated panels. These panels include looks at Warner Bros.: Green Lantern with Ryan Reynolds and other guests, a screening of the animated Green Lantern: Emerald Knights A…

Today’s Dumbass of the Day is brought to you by an unnamed male out of Spain. This dumbass thought he could blackmail Nintendo and get away with it. He is now sitting pretty in jail. On February 6th, the male approached Nintendo and said that he was going to post over 4,000 Nintendo users information online after hacking into the system and obtaining the personal information of the users who made purchases in the Wii and DSi stores. He attempted to blackmail Nintendo and when they didn’t pay him no mind, he posted close to 1,000 users information online on forums and websites. He threatened Nintendo again by claiming that he was going to post more of the individuals in…

I suppose mine is kicking the bucket. It all started with that mess of a game Lgay noire. It constantly freezes on games, no rings or anything and everything else runs just fine. I even took out the hard drive to see if it was some sort of corrupt save. Anyways instead of being pissed for weeks I just need to get a new box. Any Suggestions? Something that comes with a good sized harddrive i have the min one that came out release which is like 20 or 16 or something small.

It's the end of an era. With the release of Don McLeans's "American Pie", Harmonix is ending its weekly DLC releases for Rock Band. I don't know how many of you played or still play the game, but after 271 consecutive weeks, it's finally over. 4000 tracks and 1500 different artists later, this really is a feat that nobody else will match any time soon, if ever.

Uhhh.... I don't know what to think! Don't get me wrong, I loves me some Jack Bauer. That being said I don't think he can replace Hayter

Downloadable Content, otherwise known as DLC, in my opinion is a double-edged sword. It’s additional content that can elicit joyous responses from fanboys across the world who are eager to get their controller handling mitts on new maps for the latest Call of Duty title, while at the same time evoke furious feelings of rage regarding what many consider to be overpriced. This is all in reference however to post-launch content, which in many cases can be a great thing, but one thing in particular bothers me personally. The dreaded PRE-LAUNCH DLC! Pre-launch DLC is becoming more and more common these days, with many games such as Bioware’s Dragon Age 2 even offering DLC th…
